Also, VOIP is working. I didnt remap all my key bindings when I started playing.

We can also join specific servers So anyone wanting to play and squad up let me know.

Played longest game and......
Finally got a tank
.....limited turret rotation
.....limited visibility
.....slow as turtle
.....got main gun and machine gun kills

Shot 3 aircraft down with AA

Had positive KD ratio

Was 3rd on my team


Liking it more, but still not sold

No you can. You can only mark an area where you think a soldier is. I meant I had trouble seeing any soldier if they were in rubble or too far away. The uniforms and drab colors blend together.

I like that idea of an area as opposed to an exact location.

If I have time I'm gonna DL this weekend...piss of the wifey :black_eyed:

Play-> Multiplayer-> Advanced Search

On the right you can filter by name. So as long as one of us choose a map and post the # in the filter by name we can all join it.

You and Carp are playing a lot better than me. I think 10-14 was my best K/D.

I don't like the way the kill shot feels when I die. It always feels like a headshot, BF1 was the same. Gives me an aimbot suspicion feeling.

I haven't had an opportunity to drive a tank yet.

Yeah the location spoting is interesting. I like that im not spotted but sometimes im soldier blind in game. I'm to used to using a target detector in BF4. I think it makes me lazy about my surroundings.
 
I finally head some chick quacking in game.

I also had the opportunity to teabag a dying enemy calling for a revive LOL. I'm sure he appreciated it.

Yeah I tried it too and it was Mehh.....

I'll wait till it releases and see if EA allows Server owners and admins the same tools they have with BF4 to run the servers THEIR way... If EA restricts it the way it is doing with BF1 then I want no part of it. Infinity Ward did the same thing with COD MW2 and it was a hack infested garbage of a game. There was absolutely ZERO enforcement and almost every player was cheating. I haven't bought a copy of COD since and will never buy one.

COD2 was my last COD.

Did you play BF1 and how do you think it compares?

It plays very different from BF4 so its hard to tell if a kill seems suspicious. At least for me at this point. I'm finding a lot of shots suspicious with an asterisk.

They updated BF1 and allowed server renters to ban players. That's a positive.

I tried both and I like BF5 for the price lol (free) but I'll have to wait a few months after release to thrown down 80 bucks for it. I'm glad BF1 now allows server owners to ban players but that's the tip of the iceberg compared to what can be done with BF4... EA is not looking good right now so maybe they will allow the same permissions. We'll see I guess.
 
Actually I like bf1 better, although to be fair it’s only the beta. Haven’t even had the chance to fly or tank yet. EA Will undoubtedly only rent servers where admin’s can change the listing title and maps, I doubt they will even let them ban people at first. The reason being they think they’ll have cheats on lockdown and then some crafty guys will come along and blow apart their software and sell a bunch of hacks.

Dude they'll do this within the first 24 hours of release. When BF4 had their open beta, the hacks for it were released on the very same day. There was an article about it a long time ago. From what I've read, EA's security software is a joke.
