Just downloaded the beta and played a few rounds. I like it better than I expected to. Plays much better than BF1 and its in beta. Movement and weapons are much better. Its available to everyone starting today through the 11th. Its only 14 gigs.
I have an RX480. Settling were on High. It didn't look as good as it does with Bikers 1080ti but it still looked pretty good. It was getting 50-65 fps and most of the time it was above 58. A few dips below 50.
I was having trouble spotting people and I still fucking hate snipers. The beg for a revive was interesting.

Open your Origin client and do a search for battlefield 5. It will be there. You'll have two options. One is to buy the game and the other is to download the beta.
VOIP isnt enabled. I didnt see an option to join a specific server either. Just matchmaking.

If its possible to join a specific server I wouldn't mind setting a time for a few of us to join the same server and squad up. I think that would make it more fun.
No you can. You can only mark an area where you think a soldier is. I meant I had trouble seeing any soldier if they were in rubble or too far away. The uniforms and drab colors blend together.
Yeah you cant spot a player and put an arrow over his head but you can spot an area where you see an enemy and a gold arrow will mark that spot.
So I guess whatever hacks people have for BF1 will work for BF5 since its basically just a skin. Seeing guys go 30-1 seems unrealistic but maybe i just suck extra hard.
Servers are random.
I've been playing the beta for 5 days now and it is not as smooth as the alpha. If this is a representation of the finished product I am disappointed.
