My 2 cents worth. I pre- ordered Battlefield V the first day it was available. I got an email from EA yesterday saying I could cancel it if I did not like the game. I CANCELED IT. EA said it will refund my money. I'm not going to hold my breath on that one. K.
I'm still going to keep it. Like Apple made it to 1 trillion dollars, I'm going to own 1 trillion games LOL.
WOW!! Has EA or any game company every allowed a cancel for a per order? What is going on.
Legally, you're supposed to be able to cancel a pre-order, since there's no actual product available.
Without getting into the legal aspects of a benefit of the bargain contract, are you aware of any company sending out an email letting pre-order customers know ithey can cancel the order if they don't like the game? Seems very strange.
I coped and pasted the email below that was sent at day ago. If I'm reading this correctly I canceled my order and they are sending a refund. Please let me know if you see it an other way. Thanks, K

My last 2 rounds were very disappointing and behaved just like BF1. At first my FPS were acceptable in the 70-80 range then out of no where dropped down to 40-55. I blame EAs servers. This is one of the many reasons I stopped playing BF1.
With my 1080ti, with updated drivers, I was getting 130-143 fps. I have a 3960x 6 core cpu in an Asus P9X79 2011 chipset, and 32gb ram
They need more tanks and more planes or its just going to be a sniper-fest
Agreed to many snipers. If I decide to buy the game I will probably get a 1080ti and do a new build with a AMD 8 core. Watching your game play was much smoother than what I experienced.
Yeah, good move. Reading lots of good reviews of the Rysen chips. I even mocked up a system on Newegg.
Oh....I'm also viewing with an Alienware 34" GSYNC Ultrawide monitor. I'm not overclocking the monitor or the GPU. I have the GPU and the monitor set to 144hz refresh, and then edited my BF4 user.cfg to confine the refresh rate to 144 to match the GPU and monitor.

I might need a new monitor too. Definitely getting something that syncs up with the card. Tearing in BF1 was really bad. My monitor is a basic 23 in ASUS. I don't know if its my sight or getting older but I have trouble spotting soldiers a lot. I use a target detector on my main gun to help me spot better.
If i went to a 34 in. monitor I would probably have to mount it and pull my desk off the wall. I'm guessing you need about 4 feet from your face.

Oh.....dont look at the carpet or base boards. We are pulling all the carpet upstairs, painting, and then replacing the carpet in advance of selling the place.

WOW that's a really nice setup. I like the ultra wide monitor. I can see how that works lengthwise on a desk. My buddy used to game with his keyboard on his lap. I was never able to do it comfortably but it worked for him and obviously you too.
