Agreed...I only play that server when AARP has five or more in the queue. It is often a mess.
There is 1 very sad result of people cheating on the AARP server. Having people come on a try to get away with cheating constantly leaves very little time for the admins and moderators to enjoy the server themselves. They are forever vigilant maintaining a legitimate server.
It makes me angry that because of the asshole cheaters the admin's can't enjoy the game.
I wish there was a way that if you caught a cheater dead to rights you could press the delete key and fry the fuckers computer!

Unfortunately, it comes with the job. They just gotta make the most of it. The good thing is that we have active admins/mods. There are servers that are/seem totally unmanaged and you get botters all the time, and no one is around to deal with it.
Agree, agree, agree. After 8 years of admining, I stopped admining and now enjoy gaming again.

Suggestion - Go back an review the obviously winning operational model deployed during that time frame.
In short, go back to your successful formula. Sometimes tweaks work, sometimes they don't, but never abandon a winning formula until it fails on its own. Not all change is good.
Just a thought from a mentally challenged senior citizen.

The answer. Voteban. Yeah it has its drawbacks but that's what the mods are for. Bikerdog brings up a very simple method of troubleshooting. Go back to the way it was and do our tweaks subtly and one at a time to see how it impacts players and the server.
So the top Golmud servers are Noobs and MIA now, they never had Voteban at any point. Logically it’s hard to pin this as a selling point to draw in players. It’s really a tool for old players to enjoy their game more.

You are right... yet thst is why there are moderators who can patrol the players and play at the same time. Yes, it keep us away from playing 100%. I did this in Vi and now that we have many moderators. We necessarily don't have to be playing to patrol right. We can spectate and have Procon open any time of the day. Can kill, temp ban, perm ban, heck could do many ways. So the tool is there for us, use it to create that positive impact that we so much desire and put into place.

Anyone know why MIA is offline on gametracker but still active on battlelog?
They have a new listing in battlelog so it would have to be corrected in gametracker as well. But they are alive and doing well.
We have some software improvements so we are gaining traction again

I was also pleasantly surprised to play as the good ol' USA today!!! That was fun.
I was totally surprised when I seen U.S.A. verses Russia 8/13. It was a fun day,and I wish I had logged on sooner. Great way to mix things up guys so a big TY. This is why I play AARP, never a dull moment in game or in the forums. Keep up the good work. Now you all know the drill " Get off the fucking lawn "..................STRYKER.
Thanks for the USA feedback and yes that was totally intentional. Our provider is having a problem remembering the settings for US and keeps resetting them back to cn/ru. So I will try to get a fix into place.
