MIA Golmud seems to be the new hotspot. They appear to be directly targeting AARP, as the intro message when you join the server mentions no vote kick/ban. Same rules as AARP -- no attacking spawn, and no camping AA in spawn. Yet, there's pretty much no enforcement.
Perhaps reign in the vote ban abuse here? There have been countless instances of folks using the vote to remove the other team's AA or people they don't like.
Or, perhaps change it to a vote kick instead of ban? Many folks don't realize it's only 1 hour, and after seeing the ban message they go elsewhere or come to the forum to appeal.

We should not compete with that by permanently removing voteban.... Voteban as abused as it is, still empowers players to deal with a bad seed instantly. Take that away and you can expect a surge in complaints not to mention a lot of "Fuck you if you admins don't wanna do anything, I'll go somewhere else!" It happened to VI. Not saying the founders won't do anything, just saying that it will mean more baby sitting for you guys.
MIA Goldmud will be the hacker haven that VI was.... AARP will run a fairer server with voteban enabled IMHO.
MIA Golmund well sorry to say in fact is another heaven for cheats BIG time. In one game you can easily see 3 to 7 cheaters getting away easily is pathetic to let them run and laugh. Is sad to see something like that happen. Here in AARP are getting with 3 Senior Admins and 7 moderators can put some type of order in place and it helps in such many aspects. When a server has in place the voteban that takes notes of the bad apples another words the prime cheaters. Just follow the tracks when players constantly almost every hours throws out a player is because some how is cheating and we as players know that. I know is hectic for unknown reasons players tends to start a voteban for stupid reasons that is true. MIA Golmund will never come close to AARP that is a given...
