New grocery getter for the Mrs.

If y’all had 30k to put down on a “toy” or sports car what would you throw it at, it can be used. But keep in mind you also want to be able to really use it for at least 7 years.

I bought this 2006 Cayman S in the spring of 2020 for under $30k and under 50k miles and have been driving it for fun since. Have about 78k miles on it now and it is strictly for fun. 6-speed manual with aftermarket intake, exhaust and ECU reflash. Probably right around 325hp in a mid-engine car weighing 2900lbs.

It was today ?

A 2010. And my sequoia is a 2010 but a lot less miles. The tundra is far better suited for road trips with a moderate sized camper as the fuel tank is far larger.
If you win the auction give it a good look over. There were some gas tank strap recalls on the earlier models. My brother in law had that issue on his 2010 but it wasnt part of a recall. I guess it depends on where it was driven. Salt and humidity vs no salt and dry.

It's a huge bitch to try and fix properly.

I bought the VW this past October and have mostly paid about $4.10-4.50/gal, but filled up at $3.89 yesterday. Gas here is about $1 cheaper. This thing has a 27 gallon tank, so it will ride for a while before I need to fill it up again. Factoring in the higher cost of diesel am still way ahead of what I was getting with that 5.7 Hemi jeep at 12mpg.
What is this gallon shit it's Litres! :D

After traveling most of the world. I've noticed terms like litres, tyre, colour, mm, etc... o_O

This gives Merriam-Webster a reason to sell more books to include the special print Canadian braille edition. ?

American publishers dropped the u in a lot of ou British words to save on the cost of printing. The hyper-micromanagement of capitalistic ideals.

That might be the nicest looking Tundra's in that year or close that Ive seen. If I won that, I would update the headlights and call it a day.

Its from Canada so you know its seen its fair share of salty roads. They even say rusty underbody in the listing. If you win it I would immediately do a rust stopper and undercoating including the gas tank straps. If you get it for a good enough price paying someone to do that is probably worth it.

Depends where in Canada outside city life they usually use sand on roads due to not wanting to pollute wells as salt is not great for the environment. Don't buy anything from the coasts the salt air is caustic. There's my 2 cents worth

Wishing you all the best with it!!!!

I think my brother in law paid around 13k or 14k with similar miles and cloth so it was probably a base or close to base model. 17.6k isnt a bad price.

I remember him having to do the water pump right away.

Post pics and updates when you get it!!!

I'm curious what condition its in and what work you're going to have to do.
