This bronco sport badlands color combo is on order for my wife.

For the money I think something like a lightly used GX 460 is better long term for what she wants, but it's replacing an old Ford escape.

Not to mention that a base full sized bronco with the sasquatch package (35 inch tires) is roughly the same price. (7 speed manual is standard). As a highway driver though this is not bad. I'm looking forward to trying the drive assist/automated cruise.

I like these a lot. What engine is in it, a turbo-4? I recently bought a 2016 Touareg with a diesel 3L turbo-6 and I am in love with all of the torque.

I like the old ford bronco for durability and if it breaks down, all you need is duct tape and bailing wire.

You need a computer to fix a computer. Especially in vehicles spanning from the 90's to date.

Yeah the base ones have a turbo 3cyl that's a little weak, and the badlands have a 2.0 turbo 4 cyl. And, it has an actual transmission instead of a cvt.

My wrangler has a 2.0 turbo as well and I like it for that size vehicle.

Shiryu, which jeep is it? Up until this year, I have had jeep wagons continuously since 1989. I had a '99 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V8 that was a great vehicle. I replaced it with a 2006 Commander with the 5.7 Hemi and that jeep was GARBAGE. I think that at some point after about 2001 or so the build quality of jeeps got really bad. I believe that they are back to making higher quality vehicles now, but that early part of 2000 was not good for jeep.

2004 4x4 V6 3.7l jeep liberty, drinks without mercy

Treat yourself. Be bad and buy a Jeep SRT8.
Used to have all kinda V8 before... Dodge ram 2500 5.9L, Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L, even the 1500 V6, and Ford 5.0 F150, and mustang 95 5.0, and a Cadillac DeVille with the beautiful 440

But family first Soo liberty

I miss my V8s I took a sudden turn after a 2010 corvette pissed me off with only 9500 miles on it. I grew up with the 5.7liter LS1s in a few Fbodys, my fave was a 2006 GTO with a 6.0 it was a stupid fast car for its time. Now I drive a 2021 Lexus es350 UL and I feel older driving it but it’s a solid car. But it still won’t replace that feeling you get when driving a nice V8 on the highway feeling those pistons just doing what they do. It’s been so tempting not to get a used Lexus ISF but even over 12 years old they still cost a pretty penny and are kinda rare so I think parts might be harder to come by.
