Need help with CPU Water Cooling

Dan, I uninstalled the app from settings. So it's gone.

I just downloaded the Logitech G Hub and it looks very foreign to me. Didnt see my G15 keyboard. The Logitech Gaming Sofware is the one I downladed and the G15 keyboard did display my CPU and RAM usage in the window like before. But does not get activated on restart.

TeamSpeak used to have a plugin for the Logitech G15 keyboard, but not anymore. Like it must be old school like the dial telephones.

Test this one Gunney

Thank you Animalll. I already have the software downloaded. My G15 has the two USB ports so it's the older version.

An update on my abjective to speed up my CPU.

NewEgg has not sent me a second shipment of a heat sink for my CPU processor. They screwed up first shipment. Instead they are sending me a refund, which they say will take between 3 to 7 days. WTF! So now I have to wait until I get my money back first before ordeing another one.

You know when you are communicating with a non English speaking person when they start off with "Hi friend". That is what I get when recieving emails for some companies. I assume they are in China or India. I have not heard of any females named "Roger"!

I would never order from NewEgg again.

Their fraud is well documented online and with some pretty popular youtubers like Gamers Nexus and Jays2Cents.

Yeah I would wait a bit for GamersNexus' follow up on their interview before ordering from there again. Unfortunately for me, that means I can only buy from Amazon. But you're in 'Merica, so you have more options. I've always wanted to go to a Micro Center...

Not ONLY. We also have Canada Computers. They price match most competitors and you can pickup or have it delivered. Also, there's BestBuy, PC-Canada, Memoryexpress and even WallyMart (they do have deals occasionally and price match) :giggle:

Yeah, I was following that closely as well. They had the opportunity to redeem themselves but still managed to f-it up.
Wait did something happen after the interview? Last I knew the interview was kinda meh but some good came out of it, and Steve said that they'd have to wait and see what happens.

I had to open my case today, so I wanted to share a photo. Look at how big the D14 is!!!

It almost completely covers all four ram sticks on the right side and two on the left. They just barely have enough clearance underneath. It also comes perilously close to my video card, which has to go in that slot to get full throughput.

Finally got my Nuctua (NH-U12A) heat sink installed with the faster CPU. Running Battlefield 4 I can see a big difference. Frames per second is a lot higher now. CPU usage sitting at 65% instead of 90%.

GPU usage still at about 45% so I'm assuming it has to do with the limitations of the Front Side Bus of my motherboard. Specs call for up to 5200 MT/s hyper transport 3.0 or what ever that means. Also, the MoBo only allows for PCIe 2.0. Vidoe card is a Nvidia 1070.

what mobo you have >? i have 1070 ti on 3.0

Yeah that PCIe 2 slot it probably your bottleneck at this point. BF4 is pretty well optimized to use most of your GPU.

These guys supposedly tested BF4 using a GTX 980 Ti card in a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot vs. 3.0 x16 and even 3.0 x4 and didn't see a performance difference. I have my doubts and you can't see the graphs they posted for some reason (at least I can't), but I have not seen any other benchmarks specifically for BF4.
