It's not really worth buying alone. The weapon meta is being pushed, hard, by the DLC. Which means if you don't have it, you're at a huge disadvantage.

it's because EA/DICE are greedy cunts. remember back in the days where expansion packs came out a yea after the game to keep players interested. now they have expansions lined up before release date.

Anthem is coming and I still haven't given enough time to learning Titanfall 2 either.
