ASUS 144hz monitor

8bad8, I always leave Vertical Sync off, but I goofed up and lost my Nvidia control panel. While in the control panel I clicked on 'disable nvidia in tray'. So now I cant figure out how to bring up the graphics control panel!

open from control panel from start menu .

open from control panel from start menu .

8bad8, as you should know Windows 10 update removed the Control Panel from it's pop up screen. Had to do a Google search to find how to bring it back up. Clicked on the Settings window, Personalization, Themes then click on Desktop Icons to put the Control Panel on the desktop.

I see now that the color is being controlled by Nvidia now.

8bad9, since you have same monitor as mine, are the levels in the "Blue Light Levels" all different? Level 1-4 makes no difference, but level 5 makes screen dimmer.

Hi Gunney
I see your problem and when I get home tonight I will post up a picture of what I see to explain it better.

OK, I am thinking I could get a faster CPU. Mine is only 6 core running at 3.5ghz. I could get an 8 core running at 4.2ghz for only $60. MoBo specifies AM3+ CPUs.

Was running the game earlier with FPS around 120 and movement was very smooth. Of course that was with very low population in server.

Why not invest in AM4/Ryzen, if there's the money to?

To open classic control panel at win10, use the explorer, address bar, type control panel, click on the name and that's it, cheers

Gave me a chuckle. On my previous old GPU, i thought getting above 50 fps was great performance with an average of 45 on all low settings i might add.

This reminds me when I was playing BF3 when I changed graphics cards and could get above 30 FPS! Wow! I could really see a difference!

Oh well , i might know why the reason he don't see Control Panel ,

On window 10 , have to open folder at start menu ( open Window Systems Folder and you will see Control Panel )

Only thing is i don't like the Start Menu looks / what i did was using that ---> http://www.classicshell.net/ ---> to bring back old :highly_amused:

Now, I took that fan off of the heat sink that my new processor came with and put in rear of case. A little noisy. I notice there was a temp sensor I believe sticking out. Does the fan run faster when it detects high temps without the sensor wire going to the MoBo?
