Wonder what bullets sound like while they wizzzz past your head?

You do hear the sound wizzing by, in high school we used to dress up in camo and body armor and have airgun wars in the forest.. The rules were nothing over 400 FPS. The CO2 handguns with the spring loaded clips were (BB rounds) and single shot pump rifles were what we used. No head shots were allowed although I was hit several times in the head and once in my mask, thankfully it was deflected.. we were a stupid bunch, never underestimate the boredom of a group of teenagers…This was before the paint gun really gained steam. Real bullets wizzing by has to be nuts….
I have heard a few to several rifle bullets go by, during hunting season i was on a hillside and the state trooper was hunting at a spike below me. was about 500 yards away so they were shooting for a while. I know their spot and stepped behind a big fir tree. Sat and listened to the rounds coming into the hillside and ricochets. no biggy.. just like it sounds in war movies
Been at the range and had some come overhead. Bozos had a hard time keeping it in the berms. Wouldn't purposely be downrange to get it on video/audio.
We used to do this, too. We would have 10-12 guys out there split up into two teams. Everyone had to wear safety goggles, and you weren't supposed to aim above the lower chest. We had great fun with this until one of my buddies got shot by a bb that went through his upper lip and into his mouth.
