Why I hardly play on your server anymore

I play for the friends I meet. As a matter of fact the relationships that I am fortunate to develop by playing make the game incidental. In my opinion, management does an extraordinary job of maintaining the server, website and community. Life is too damn short to complain why we don't get what we want.

You guys are doing everything you can to balance the load and I appreciate it.

I played for the friends I'd meet for a long time.
Novalogic Delta Force - Gundogs <DG> and "Gunny's World" server circa 1999 (Original Dirty Dozen member)
Battlefield - ALL - On and off with different squads for a long time.

Donated thousands of dollars to servers. (visit TKC donation board as an example.....and I was never an official member)

Now, I play, and donate, for the general "feel" of a server.

I've always felt at least tolerated on the ARRP servers. That's enough for this old dog.
I don't need to be liked.

I tend to stay to myself and I don't cause trouble beyond bitchin' at the pussy AA's once in a while (and I even do that in a funny tongue in cheek way).
I don't respond to obvious taunts, chest thumping 12 year olds, particular players killing me over and over, or low self esteem types trying to be somebody. I'm just there to enjoy the flippin game.

At my age I don't have the time or patience for juvenile "Who's dick is bigger" contests.

But of all the servers I've played in over the past year, I've enjoyed the AARP server and their players more than any other.

Some of the fellas here really have my number and I respect every one of them a hell of a lot more than the every-one-that-kills-me-is-a-hack crybaby's

Respects AARP ....you guys are OK in my book.

I have no issues losing but I can;t stand losing because I'm the only one or my squad and maybe two othger players are pushing the objective while everyone else hogs armor and camps on hills.... It's impossible to want to play on a team like that. I'm GUILTY!!!! lol

Quite a difference in opinion there!

Back in 2006 X6 was a working clan, of which I was the leader and founder, and we always had a server 90% paid for by me - which I made the most popular in a slowly dying game. And of course we always had people moaning about the changes I made to make it more popular, while their servers were empty. So I totally understand Red's position of denial, and I probably took that stance too rather than Simpson's position of understanding. So I get it!

But it is what it is, I wish you nothing but success, and my post was nothing but a "these are the problems you face" post. Obviously those who play only American evening when the server is packed will not see them as much.

I understand your frustration, and I have been on the teams you speak of. Tank and aa campers and teams full of snipers (did I ever tell anyone I hate snipers, LOL). It's part of the game and I sometimes get annoyed (and sometimes voice it over the mic, sorry to anyone on the other end), but it's all in good fun and it shouldn't deter you from doing your best, even if it gets you killed 50+ times.

A few weeks later I uninstalled and quit the game. All my gaming now is on PS4.

Fancied a change this week, reinstalled BF4, 2 mins into a game, I think yeah I remember why I dont play this shit anymore haha

I don't miss the game tbh, just the people. Probably i was first on there as I have no life haha

Ill try and come on again, see if I can find someone to pilot me in the attack heli.

Johnny! Long time no see. I remember how some things frustrated you, but its not all bad. :)

Think about coming back to kill Red Dawn or Redkilla for old times sake.

Seeding / starting the server sucks but is a little better these days.
