AA 50-75 KILLS ON THEIR AIR is helping my team when the enemy team can't fly ..Indeed my dear Watson indeed! talktodabullet you just following what Akula says..... get it in your head, that many kills on their air is being MVP for your team. what I'm saying if someone on your team is getting these scores why in the F... would your team get mad repeatedly and try to kick, I don't get it . Thats why I asked is this noob server where admins don't want good players...And no In general my game play is terrible its just the AA that I play well.

alotta ppl get heat up for no reasson at the server, it's not noob server... but you're playin in one of the best servers around, and there's sooo many good damm players that sometimes this get out of control feeling the lost, nobody wants to be at the loser team, right?
As stated before, the only issue here, is if the AA is not near to the flags, you're not helping, besides that usually everyone wants to c4, roll you out, push you to move, trolling you for not appearing reason, etc.
Is not easy to be at this server as AA player, not at all, but thanks for trying

Then why did you get votebanned? Top score doesn't give you the right to think you are helping your team. How your team responds to your performance in the AA is reflective of how much you are helping them. Honestly, no one gives a shit about your score except you.

I think you do a pretty good job in the AA. As for votebans against you, I've agreed to some and disagreed to others.
Lately, I've voted !no in your favor because I've seen improvement in your game-play and I too have a better understanding of how difficult it can be to drive the AA while fighting off all the enemy attacks.
For most, killing the AA is right up there with capping flags or hunting down that damn rocket truck as top priorities.
Voteban was implemented to allow players to kick out others for many different reasons and AA drivers are no exception. Voteban can sometimes get abused and you're probably not aware but even some of our members have been put in the doghouse for abusing it. I've also seen players get votebanned for abusing voteban. It's not perfect but it's here to stay.
KaretCat and Akula replied with some good pointers and understanding of the AA role.
Quite often, players will look to their AA to keep the choppers and jets off their asses so they can cap the northern flags.The AA needs to keep it between A and C or B and C depending which side you're on. If you can't keep the AA in the required zone ask your squad or team for help and if that fails then maybe try improving on your weaker attributes, ie: gun and repair in a tank, help cap a flag, solflam targets etc.
One thing for sure that will not help your cause is to come to the forums with negativity towards our members or say things like "what's wrong with you?"..."just talk shit"..."get it in your head".

I also know how to pretty effectively kill an AA :glee: It's a very hard vehicle to utilize effectively. Sure, the skill-to-entry is pretty low, but you immediately know how good or bad your AA is, depending on who has air superiority. Very few people have really good situational awareness and are more often than not blissfully unaware of the jets and choppers flying right over their heads. There's something to say about being too busy to get everything (like there's a fuckin' weenie in the Attack Jet hiding at 1,000m with JDAMs), but most of the time this isn't the case.
It's difficult to read into a situation you have no information on. You died to a chopper or jet, then your AA must suck, right? What if your AA is being constantly hounded by Tanks, since you can't keep them on their side of the map? What if they're constantly being lased and no one's killing the Recon? What if it was just a sneaky chopper that got you from just below the AA's horizon, or hiding behind the spawn hills? Personally, I try to figure out why the AA is doing so bad. "Are they using Passives?, Do they not know how to use Actives?, Why are they using Zunis?" "Why is the AA where it is?"
Of course, there are several people who are just garbage with the AA too, and I already know they won't/can't improve. Just remember: Even if they don't read the !rules, that doesn't exempt them from the rules.

I was in the AA Saturday morning on Golmud, some guy in a tank was bitching that we had a shitty AA player. He was like "how do you not see the chopper over F??? We are getting killed at F!!!!" I was like "what the fuck you doing at F????, Im up at A B with no tank support!!!!"
That would be so wrong taking the mean machine to F. I mean I have taken it to D when they want to take my chocho not F...
The only time I see value in the F flag is when we have ABC and D.... the other team at this point will flank south, take F while my team ignores it then they regroup south of the map, take either E or G and then move on D..... F is not a flag to be ignored if we have D.

None really and if we have F we have the added advantage of the rocket truck for the children and the C-130 if we have a commander. I see it all the time where my team just camps to hold ABC and just because we hold D, who cares how far up they push form the south, and then before you know it, we lose D and the tide starts to turn. If you lose F, be mindful of what's developing south of the map or you're screwed.
