On Golmud, I got vote banned for camping the AA (I believe it said i was in the uncap). Regardless, I wasn't camping at all and was playing in a game where my team was getting hammered very hard. I finally shot down a very good F-35 pilot (after being taken out several times), and then the vote came for me to be banned (obviously, not enough people voted "no"). Are vote bans permanent or for 24 hours?

I realize Dice overpowered the AA, and that many believe it needs to be metered down. I get that. I also FULLY understand that your aim is to promote great games (THANK YOU!). I was later playing in another AARP map, and someone voted to ban me again for AA, but this time it was on a map that didn't even have an AA (?LOL?), and they voted it down. I'm sure you're aware that fake ban votes are occurring, but this one on Golmud got me.

The only grounds for my appeal would be me denying that the claim was true. Please allow my return to AARP Golmud.
 
I believe someone yesterday's trying to votekick you for being at the AA, but i see you as an infantry and infact i remember that i stab you, i guess they need to check the one's who start the votekick in the first place,

In other note, we call "Camping AA", at the guys using it away from A,B,C flags or going into EFG places

Just wait for the admins to show up
 
People are making up crap and kicking people .....ex: I play AA hard and get top score consistently only to be ...let me say when you get that many kills in AA other team starts hunting you down in jeeps tanks , loopy loop high flying jdam pilots you name it . So that means you re-spawn alot , people see that as afk when in fact you just re-spawned . If this is noob server tell me now and I won't try so hard. AARP needs to stop people from kicking every two seconds . Ruining the game , one person starts the votekick just because they want the AA or for what ever reason and everyone else follows .

Love to see the battle reports of the games in question. You hide them for some reason?
 
yeah, the votekicks are getting a bit quick on the trigger so to speak. I don't hardly ever vote out an aa driver even though many piss me off to no end. I would hope after futility they would let some others jump in to try. I only vote them out if they are sitting in the spawn hiding.

Usually when someone is being votebanned for camping in the AA it is because they are sitting far back on a hill and NOT pushing the offensive with the tanks. If you're not near A, B, C flag and your not near your tanks who NEED the air cover then expect to get votebanned. The players here for the most part are very team oriented and sitting on a hill like a turd swatting flies is NOT how you effectively use the ONLY mobile anti air asset your team has.

It could also be a more complicated situation as well, such as the AA is constantly being hunted by Tanks, Infantry, or being ganged up on by the choppers/jets. Generally, people don't read that far into a situation. If you're getting shot by air: "your AA is bad", rather than what could actually be happening like: "your AA is being overwhelmed, and needs help" or "the team can't keep tanks away from the AA". So no matter how good (or well-performing) the AA is votebans can be made because people don't read into the situation.

For example, Santana likes to complain when I'm in the AA, regardless of if I have any help with anything, or if I'm sitting at the top of the scoreboard, and a sneaky Scout Chopper kills him lol.
 
When I am in the AA I push myself between A, B and C and even taking flags and killing. Believe me you will have your team mates helping and blue berries too!
 
I always have a secondary monitor up and if the AA is moving forward towards A/B/C and making an effort I would vote !no but if they're not then that's fair game.

banns may be 3 min but I get top score in AA and people are voting me off the island whats up with that ?
