I hired an employee about 3 months ago and he is doing well at his job but he approached me last week and asked if I knew that the earth was flat. I responded, this is a joke, right? He said no and handed me literature to that effect. Stunned, I said are you OK son? Are you on drugs? He said no. People have been lied to about the earth and he needed to tell me the truth. I instructed him to return to his workstation and shook my head. Are there really people that believe that the earth is flat? Or do I live in a parallel universe?

I guess my next hire will tell me we never went to the moon!

lol.. really? I would think the guy was trying to play a practical joke on you ..

Nope this guy believes and tries to convince others that his theory is correct. He is a decent machinist. But I will fire him if he continues to be a distraction to my other employees.

lol flat earthers fascinate me. There is so much scientific proof to make an informed decision, outside of watching a live feed from NASA from the space station. Its hilarious.

If the Earth were flat, cats would've pushed everything off of it by now. You should ask him where the lines marking the edge of the earth are. Do the flights going from California to Japan go through a cosmic portal to get to their destination? What about Atlantic Ocean flights? Do they get help from Poseidon to magically appear on the other side of the world?

From what I understand, the idea behind Flat Earth is based on flawed understandings of some very basic things (such as lenses, or gravity). Unfortunately, the way people spin these ideas, it's difficult to convince them with photography, and most don't understand the complicated math behind planetary forces. So, the only 'easy' way is to send them to space... and that's not easy yet.

And once we get them into space we best leave them there.

. So, the only 'easy' way is to send them to space... and that's not easy yet.

Only if they don't come back.

And they can load up all the child abusers, animal abusers, politicians, and frankly anyone willing to physically harm another human being for any reason. Yep...a one way tour out of the flat solar system with all those flat planets.

No truer dual statement has ever been made. "The earth is a sphere, there is no god!"

And I attended church for over 30 years before I "Woke" to irrefutable empirical evidence

Does anyone remember the gravitron?

Flat earthers like to say if we were actually a sphere that was spinning everything on the surface would fly off like the way our bodies react inside the gravitron.

Unfortunately a lot of flat earthers are also anti vaxxers.

Skepticism is good uneducated skepticism is bad.
