Now, to be fair to anyone in the AA. Make sure you understand why the AA is in the spawn. If they're camping/hiding for no reason, then that's flat-out against the rules. However, if the AA is getting beat up by infantry, or tanks, then that's on the rest of the team to clean up the mess. Attack Jets and Attack Choppers may require help from other team members, depending on how the enemy is playing (like a coward in the back with Smart Rockets is hard to hit with the AA alone, same goes for a weenie in the Attack Jet at 1,000m up spamming JDAMs). Lasers, on the other hand, are more difficult to deal with in support of the AA, but generally requires the entire team to keep the enemy on their half of the map.
Of course, all of this really can be hard to read, if the AA doesn't properly communicate what's going on, on their end. It's easy to lose track of how they're doing, if they're at least killing the air. When I play AH, I spend a lot of time watching for ground units on my half of the map, or relatively near the AA... including cars (assuming the AA is doing a decent job, otherwise I'll let them die, lol).
As for Sully, I tend to have a hard time getting support from them when I'm in the air. They're (relatively) slow to respond to threats and seem to have a general lack of situational awareness, and just lets air fly right by them, when actually playing forward. When on the opposing team, it takes very little to push Sully back into the spawn, and they'll just hide there more often than not, and I have to actively go into the spawn area to get at them. Otherwise I can largely ignore them and scrape the enemy armor off my boots.
