STRYKER is a bad admin, shouldn't be allowed to kick on the server

Playing a tight round of Golmud just now, one of my squad mates (who I always play with) kills one of STRYKERS R6V2 clan buddies with a jet, then jumped out because he was disabled. I saw it in person and it wasn't a jet ram at all. the guy was dead before the jet even hit the ground. But the guy said it was a jet ram so Stryker kicked him.

I pointed out in chat it wasn't a ram and he said shut the fuck up and muted me. I didn't use any rude language and I don't think that is the right tone to use with people who aren't being disrespectful.

First off, even if it was a ram (it wasn't) no ramming isn't in the server rules, which when you type !rules say no camping AA and no racism. Also rams happen sometimes due to being disabled or whatever.

I have never seen any other abusive admins on here, the rest are always very fair.

I have a feeling the kick was more out of frustration because we were coming back and taking flags. Kicking people on the other team like that is bad. I have seen him do this quite a few times lately.
 
Some of the Staff take Jet Ramming more seriously than others. Who was your squadmate? Also, general rule of thumb, if you didn't mean to Jet Ram, there should be some apology. Though, the smoking remains of a jet as it comes down (after being destroyed) can still cause damage to a vehicle, if it's close enough and that's just outright unavoidable. Especially if a target is disabled as it's approaching. No way to pull up or away and you end up face-planting the AA, tank, or whatever, regardless of desire.

This sounds like a weird situational problem.
 
If i ever do that the first thing i do is say sorry for the ram. if i hit a chopper mid flight i also say sorry. STRYKER ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS says something first before any action is taken, so he had to do it more then 1 time or other people had jet rammed him same game. He is not that big of an ass and there is a pecking order in our server and he would not do something to jeopardize his place as admin. Even when i was first here i got kick from our server for something bigger then a jet ram and he was not even an ass about that. So i call shenanigans!
 
You zigged when you should've zagged. What sucks are the on purpose lawn darter cuz they're mad for getting a guided up their ass a few times.
 
I have never jet rammed no one ever, that to me is poor player all around, once a jack always a jack! At least apologize or something geez buy when you laugh thats even worse jack!!

+1 Ill jet ram your ass onto another map. I am pretty sure if the developers didnt want that to happen jets would cause zero damage when they hit and maybe bounce as well.

I'm not entirely sure they thought that far ahead. Likely play-testers didn't actively 'grief' by ramming jets into tanks. Just like how manually-aimed TOWs one-shot aircraft. It was a design oversight. Ramming in 1 and 5 is much harder, and does less damage (if any).

squad mate was gurlgh, and he didn't jet ram even on accident, strykers clan buddy was dead before he bailed out of the jet. I have done this too and you can't pull up in time so the jet rams their dead tank but its a legit kill.

And I personally don't see ramming as any worse than jihad jeeping. the jets take forever to respawn so its not a huge problem. tanks still dominate etc.

if it's not against the rules it shouldn't be a kick IMO. This kind of admin abuse was prevalent on other bf4 servers but never on AARP
 
I jet ram the AA if the twat is just sitting in the base or on some far off hill. It beats kicking or admin killing because the other team doesn't have the chance to steal it. I cant remember the last time I intentionally jet rammed mid air.
 
STRYKER in the headlines again. All I can say in my defence is fuck all you jet rammers. I try to keep the game as real as possible and kicking jet rammers is part of my mission. There is a huge difference between C4 Jeeps that are pretty much dirt cheap and a 50 million dollar jet in warfare. You C4 Jeep a tank and live you probably would be a hero, you spear someone with a 50 dollar jet and live you are most likely going to get a court martial. To me BF4 is a battle simulator and should be played as such, you want to play a game realistically and have a good time go play tetrus or pac man.

If I kicked gurlgh by mistake I apologize, but I may have confused him with someone else because there were many complaints about jet ramming in that game. STRYKER does not kick people for a one time jet ram even if it is called inentional. I go after repeat offenders that people via chat window or TS can identify. So until I am told by the senior admin not to do it any longer if you are a repeat offender in the game I will kick you.............STRYKER.
 
I jet ram all the time!! I ram trees, buildings, towers, bridges and when I am feeling really confident, Ill try and ram straight into the ground!!!

I take it this only happened once., Stryker apologized...move on..
 
Kick every fuckstick that rams a jet. Just like you, I think it should be punished for wrecking a valuable asset. Dont give in Mr. Stryker, do what is right for the server.

How about you only kick for stuff that is against the rules. Doesn't seem like ramming is.
