I've been playing RC1 for a long time, I usually play with tanks, helicopters, Btr or UCAVS; I don't usually use firearms much, but lately I don't know what type of weapon to use on this map, could someone recommend a weapon and its respective accessories.

I use the G18 as a secondary weapon, but I need one that works for me at medium and long ranges, a primary weapon.

870 works on maps like RC1?, I thought shotguns were for close range.
But I'll still use it, I'll try it, thanks for the suggestion.

Welp your halfway to cunt, might as well go full cunt and rubble hump with a shotgun and C4. It's super effective.

You use a vehicle then when you get blown out of it, roll with the glock for the 5 seconds before you die/suicide and spawn back in your vehicle again.

Shotguns are an excellent choice on Golmud if you are a flag-capper/defender. If you are going to sit off the flag then you'll want to use something else. I have been using the UMP-9 pretty heavily for about 6 months now. I love the accuracy and hip-firing ability.

It is an excellent option as a secondary weapon, for quick reaction

Shotguns are an excellent choice on Golmud if you are a flag-capper/defender. If you are going to sit off the flag then you'll want to use something else. I have been using the UMP-9 pretty heavily for about 6 months now. I love the accuracy and hip-firing ability.

I used both UMPs for a while on RC1 with long range sights, they are more effective at close range, a good option.
I will try to use it with other accessories to see how it goes, thanks.

usually a heavy weapon like magnun or deagle, need to use it with for stability compensator

The trick is to use a lower dpi and don't aim down sights. At least that's what I do.

I always try to aim for the head, and my DPI is a bit high, I should lower it a bit.

Don't aim for the head with a shotgun. Aim for center of mass. In fact, I would only aim for the head with a sniper or dmr. Also I use the coyote sight for the shotgun because it takes up a minimal portion of the screen, aiming or not.
