I always thought bacon was in strips until in my 20's when someone mentioned CDN bacon never heard such a thing lol bacon is bacon to me comes in strips.. It's like American cheese it's just sliced process cheese up here. Unless there's something else involved that I'm ignorant about ?

Same here, bacon's always been strips. We called canadian bacon back bacon or peameal bacon.
