Rigs - Where's the thread with everyone's systems/status

Currently:

CPU - i7 5930k 3.5GHz
RAM: 16 GB DDR 4
MOBO: ASRock X999 Professional 3.1
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Classified 6 GB
STORAGE: 2 Samsung Evo 960 256 GB SSDs in Raid 0 + 4 TB Western Digital HDD

Next week though, I'm pulling the trigger on one of these two configs:

The first is $1800, but is being bought like crazy and is sold out within a day of being restocked. The second one is $2600 and available now. Debating whether to stay with the first one, which is what I really wanted to begin with or to just upgrade my GPU to the 2080 TI with the second.

Seems to me like $800 is too big of a difference...is it worth a 2080 vs a 2070 and liquid cooling (that im estimating costs 100-150 on its own)

Also....what currency is this?? I paid around 2000 CAD for my set up, this was a year ago....1800 seems like a steal for that first rig

2070 super is no where near the 2080ti in price and performance
There is about a $700 to $800 difference in price for those cards

I've never done a AMD Processor build. Not a lot issue with Intel.

Lmao I love how you remember exactly how many keyboards and mice you've had....at this rate Logitech should give you some free stuff for being such a good loyal customer

Well those are the recent ones, I used to have a Thermaltake mechanical keyboard, did last half year, and ended up selling it hahhaha, am to rough for this little things, besides as chubby man for all that pitza.... Man hands are soft and hit hard lol

I did one back in like, 2007 when performance was really close between AMD and Intel. Obviously Intel had the last DECADE on lock with their CPUs, but once again, AMD is coming out with some really powerful stuff. That Ryzen 3900x is the best consumer-grade CPU on the market currently. The Intel 9900k is comparable, but is $100 more.

Yeah, AMD is really competitive with their price to performance.

you have to look at the other spec's on there it's not really close ..I have a 2060 super 8gb card and my 1080ti hybrid that the pump went out on will kick the shit out of it LoL and i mean shit
That's why im going to fix it...incase the new Ampere cards are out of my reach.
The Ti cards are monster's and the 2080ti is the best card out there right now...least it's the best mainstream card out there

I do rolling upgrades, so it's a mix of my last build (a Ryzen 1700) and new parts. GPU is up next, but I'm waiting for the next gen stuff.
