No posts here? ok cool I'm 1st one.
What do you guys think?
Maybe every Fri or Sat (or once a Month) we can have a private game, best out of 2 rounds with regular players from the server to play against us? Password protected with no interruptions. We can ask them to come to our site, register and sign up for a game and we have enough people we can do 8 vs 8 or something like that 2 squads or 3. It could be fun or not. Post your thoughts !!!
 
lol...I think it is an OUTSTANDING idea!!! would love to take on other klans. however for context, we did this once before when a lot of us were in SCRU at Bubba's Place!

Getting other clans to play against would be no big deal as they always look for a good scrimmage.
I don't recommend playing against clans just yet until we can play as a strong team. We would need to go over locations on map, strategy and responsibilities ( we can't just run free )
I suggest we play vs some regular players that come to the server, invite them here give them a password to join a game with us. It would make them feel as they are part of something good & fun and they would always come back and invite other friends. With a little time we can definitely challenge other clans for scrimmage.

Biggest problem I see so far is like what Red said "Now if we could just get more people in the forums to read this!!!!"

Art, I got to say I love your enthusiasm. We tried this once and it went very poorly. The nexT guys crushed us and everybody got disenchanted. Happy to take the blame on that one. Having said that, it's all about setting the right expectations. Attached is a picture from Facebook of me trying to organize the team. I'd LOVE to try this again! We need to find a core group of 10 guys who we can count on to participate. Big teams get messy. And like you said organize the responsibilities. For instance, if put you and me in the Attack heli. My recommendations are start small at first. Let's find 10 reliable good players who have the time and interest. This may not be easy...

I've been kinda burned out lately, I went from playing every single day to just on weekends. Had a life style change and I discovered that I had a living room and a kitchen. Long story but I still like to play every now and then. Id be up for a scrim.

When you guys are in the server and playing on the same platoon, tell the other members to get their ass in the forums so we can all discuss. A lot of members just register and never come back in here. I believe we even have some members who are not even registered.
