Smith & Wesson 686+ Deluxe
.357mag with a 3" barrel. It's a 7-shot revolver. Super solid and a lot of fun to shoot! Anyone else into revolvers? View attachment 7640
Yes, it will fire any .38 special rounds, which is nice. I have an older S&W .38 revolver as well, so I keep a good supply of .38sp around. They are definitely easier to fire and cheaper than the .357mag rounds are.
I had a .357 back when, took it to the firing range and after 200 rounds it was a little toasty. Has so much fun thou.
What sucked was cleaning it felt like I was at work again. After each Mil training evolution, it was back to the Armory to clean all your weapons and gear before going home.
I don't know, but when I fire it at the indoor range other people on the line look over to see what just got fired. It is definitely a high-powered round.

True, but I did have a shell casing crack lengthwise as I fired it, and it got stuck in the cylinder until I could poke it through with a thin wooden dowel. Certainly not the gun's fault though.
