That is beautiful. I went the lazy route and just bought an H80v2, its still kicking. Though I need to find a GPU solution.

I just use the USB audio built-in the headset. It has fake 7.1 but I can hear the direction of footsteps.

I have a Corsair Headset with the fake 7.1 as well this simply blows it away... and if your talking music it's not even in the same solar system...

Not sure why there is so much resistance to moving to Windows 11. I moved as soon as it is available on my Laptop and haven't regretted it. It is a really good OS, not that I am a power user or anything. I am kinda stuck now with this older mobo/chip combo as it isn't secure enough apparently so staying on W10 for a bit.

There is zero difference in performance unless you don't have a machine that supports the OS .... having Direct Storage alone is worth it, it allows GPUs to directly access data from SSDs, reducing loading times and improving overall gameplay.

Or the choke sound…. It’s very subtle but it cracks me up now because I noticed Dice uses the choke sound when you die doing something stupid like jumping out of a speeding jeep just to smack a pillar or wall or a fall that you thought wasn’t high enough to deploy the parachute but alas you mis judged it…. Sound is usually good enough there is an option called scout mode that actually amplifies footsteps but I noticed it seems to work better in the newer BF titles.
