If you already have a 144hz monitor do you even need G-Sync enabled?

I have a 32" Samsung widescreen, GTX 980 Matrix running 2160x1440p @144hz no G-Sync enabled and V-Sync also disabled.

I have g sync enabled for my 144hz monitor.

Its probably less necessary with your card since its unlikely that you have frame rates above the 144 fps.

Id experiment with a few different options and see what looks smoothest during game play.
