issue with my monitor...

hey guys. an issue with my monitor...

when I am ingame, my monitor plays at full screen (edge to edge). but after a game, when it moves to the scoring page, both the left and right edges get truncated. see the pic below, where the chat is happening you can see it is cut off... It never used to do this.... any thought as to what is up?

Biker Dog discussed this in an old thread and said something like even though the game played fine the screen would always get cut off at the end of the game. He had a wide screen monitor too.
 
yes on widescreen... LG 36 inch curved, 2560x1080, 144hz g-sync.

i am using a GTX 1060 w/6g memory
 
are you using gforce experience whenever things go all wrong it's usually an update that took place on that program and I have had to roll back to prior versions more than once

I will check that but.... IF I am going to be totally honest..... remember when i said it used to be ok? what changed was when i was running across Objective C and jumped over a little 1 foot wall but my player did not jump. so i jumped a second and third time and my player did not jump. Then my head explodes from a sniper shell and i am dead.... I literally beat the FUCK out of that keyboard. and not just one or two pounds.... i mean 20 major hits and over 10 key went flying in all directions. I have a new keyboard but that is when this issue started.

Ahhh violence and technology only worked on the old Atari 2600 consoles we had when we were younger, the new stuff can't take the abuse I hear... check that G-Force, it auto updates and it does so frequently, uninstall it even if you have to , they have screwed my setup many times over with that app

I have exakt the same problems whit my Dell 34" 3440 x 1440, and i have still not find any solution after 16 mounth for that..
 
That is weird that happen to me too in couple of videos though I did an update to experience and problem resolved.
 
try a new cable i have found that the LG some time has a problem with that port check for a firmware update try a new cable this what i user on my servers
