How many of you have been playing since BF1942?

I go all the way back to BF1942 as well. Really used to enjoy it, but can't remember any particular servers. I also played a lot of Desert Combat, which was a fantastic BF42 mod that led to BF2. Played that a lot, too, but not much BF3 or any of the Bad Company stuff. I also played a lot of Day of Defeat, which was a halflife mod.
Oh man, desert combat was awesome. I loved that mod.

I started with Delta Force "Black Hawk Down" and some mods of Joint operations Escalation. Expansion pack and Joint Operations Typhoon Rising.
Then some of us started making custom maps. Clan name was Thundering Third. or T-3. That was a long long time ago. K.

I was 15 or 16 when I discovered 1942 and I loved it so much. I used to play in the server Area of Destruction [AoD] and another one I think was called SBD (can't remember name)

What servers did you guys play in? Maybe people have run into each other before
My first video game was PONG so that's all I can say probably not too many here even know what that was.

I discovered battlefield by playing BF2 and 1942 against bots in multiplayer. I was more of a COD and MOH person cause I had no idea the Battlefield series was a thing. The games seemed cool so I bought Battlefield 4 and never went back. I regret not joining the series sooner as Bad Company and BF3 sound like they were really awesome back in the multiplayer days.

I started the BF series w/ 1942. Joined the =TAW= server, and was given the boot due to a name that wasn't "family friendly". Came back as SanitizedName, and the rest is history.

We (HoneyR and I) had a fairly descent amount of people that worked with us that played, and would host LAN parties (holy shit I'm old) at our house. We had fairly regular scrims with the PDX guys over in Portland.
