How many of you have been playing since BF1942?

I was 15 or 16 when I discovered 1942 and I loved it so much. I used to play in the server Area of Destruction [AoD] and another one I think was called SBD (can't remember name)

What servers did you guys play in? Maybe people have run into each other before

I play BF1942 in the first month that was released, I help a friend to set up a "lan-house" with 10-15 CPUs and we play with a few friends, It was awesome.

BF4 was the first game in the Battlefield series I've ever played. Before bf4 I used to play tons of competitive fps game.

I first discovered BF with a free demo of 1943 on PS3. I grew up shooting firearms, so I couldn't believe there was bullet physics in the game. I was used to the COD laser beam style shooters. I bought the full game, then shortly after BF3 came out and played that a lot. I bought BF4 for PC around 2015, but my computer couldn't run it that well then, and I've recently got back into it. Never wasted my time with the newer ones.

I started on 1942 [AoD] does sound familiar, but i can't remember that far back. Before that I played Tfc, a half-life mod

All the mods were so awesome! The Star Wars mod, the Harry Potter mod where you flew on broom sticks for the airplanes

I have. I was a helper on GameSpy when 1942 came out. Hosted my own servers and ran 1942 and the EOD mod. Good times

I played BF2 since launch. I have thousands of hours on that game. Been playing them since. BF1 wasn't too great, and I skipped BF5.

I'm waiting to see what the new one will show us.

I go all the way back to BF1942 as well. Really used to enjoy it, but can't remember any particular servers. I also played a lot of Desert Combat, which was a fantastic BF42 mod that led to BF2. Played that a lot, too, but not much BF3 or any of the Bad Company stuff. I also played a lot of Day of Defeat, which was a halflife mod.
