Hot Pockets

I had them once but they were nothing special tbh....was so disappointed because id never had them before and used to see lots of kids have them and I hyped them up in my head. Im not even that good of a pizza maker and I could make better pizza pockets. My mom makes these little cheese 'puffs' that are dough balls with cream cheese and feta inside. So damn good. I should experiment with making pizza puffs lol
Hi Gem, those puffs sound killer!!! Here's mine. Fresh baguette anywhere. Jar of your fav pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce, gallo pepperoni slices, any mozzarella slap that stuff on a open faced baguette, throw it in a grill or lil oven till crispy, and repeat!!

I have a terrible sweet tooth so I'm very much into Oreos, hot fudge sundaes, and just plain-ole fudge. It doesn't help I live right down the street from Winfrey's Fudge. If I'm playing BF4 at night, I likely have a bunch of Oreos and a glass of milk next to me. I will continue this lifestyle until I gain weight or die. When the latter happens, I want to be buried with a family-size pack of double-stuff Oreos and a gallon of milk.

You are Billy the Kid reborn.! He had a mad sweet tooth too. Eat it up kid, in 50 years you might get diabetes, but that's far away.

Pizza pockets and pizza rolls were common gaming food for my husband and I when we were younger and gaming tons! Long hours of MMOs and raiding! Had ranch for dipping! My favorite was Philly Steak and Chz!

Don't eat either one now. Love me a hot slice of Jersey pizza instead!

I still love pizza rolls, they never get old for me, but yes sometimes pizza too

Lucky for me I love salty and sweet equally. Speaking of milk. Yes. Milk.

I love drinking milk with almost anything sweet. Cake. Brownies. Cookies. Muffins. The best deserts are the ones that go great with a glass of milk. Ever had tres leche cake?

I'm also guilty of eating slices of cheese and raw hotdogs when Im craving something salty. Ive been known to finish family sized bags of chips in 2 days which is why we are no longer allowed to buy chips in my house

Sorry for the long wait on the recipe!
Here it is:
The 'base' is the 10-minute dough. Super easy fool-proof dough that doesnt take much skill or fancy equipment to put together. Very versatile too. Weve made savoury pastries, cheese puffs, pizza, cinnamon twists, etc all with this dough and just a few tweaks.

Dough
- 5 cups flour (can sub one cup with rolled oats, whole wheat flour, etc)
- 2 tbsp instant yeast
- 2 heaping tbsp sugar
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- optional: some flaxseed, sesame seed, black seed, etc

1. Mix well with spoon 2 cups flour, warm water, salt, sugar, yeast in bowl. Cover, set aside in warm place for 15 minutes.
2. Mix in olive oil and add remaining 3 cups flour and optional seeds. Can start mixing with spoon and then switch to hand when it gets clumpier. Knead in bowl for 2 minutes. Dont need any fancy kneading techniques. Cover and set aside for a minimum of 10 minutes, then use in whatever way you like.
3. For cheese puffs break off small egg sized pieces of dough. flatten dough into circle with fingers. Add about 1 tbsp cheese mix (1/3 to 2/3 crumbled feta cheese and remaining cream cheese, or mix feta and mozarella cheese, add some flour to cheese to absorb moisture to avoid pastries opening in oven. can mix in seeds or herbs to cheese mix) and close up into a ball again. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes until bottom of pastry is golden brown. Can turn on grill to brown the top if needed.

She kills men like they were flies, and makes pastries like a chef. Where I come from, we call those beings goddesses.
