Headset - whatcha using?

I see lots of bad reviews on Amazon about poor quality. Hope you don't experience that.
Its been only 2 weeks since i bought it, so will see how it goes. So far i like it alot. I hope it doesn`t break soon lol. It is hard to find a perfect match so you have to buy, use and see how it goes. The one thing i like about is that i can hear the squad mates more clear in game. Way better than logitech. I agree, lots of bad reviews. But so do other headsets so it is lottery until you find the right match for you.
Let us know how you like those HyperX.

Your mic is really good now btw

Rather than gaming headsets maybe consider looking at studio headphones and a modmic

I use audiotechnica m50s with a modmic that clips on, 8+ years so far and still sound great.

Yes, I totally agree with that. I had a lot of luck with my last pair of HyperX. Probably got 10 years out of them before they started to lose the front channel audio. They could be configured for either 5.1 or 7.1
It was weird playing the last couple of weeks with them because I got no warning sounds of an incoming missile. 😂
After tweaking some audio settings within windows I have the new ones sounding very nice and the squad chat is also clear. 👍🏻

Well, I checked that audiotechnica m50s you recommended, and it looks really good to be honest. I will try one of those next for sure. I never heard of it before, im not great at the research lol. I have to say, I have trouble hearing you speak when we squad, not sure why. I though it was your mic but Im not sure. I was able to hear your brother very clear, not sure what headset he use.

Sometimes I'm just on my laptop w/onboard mic at work and don't have my headset with me so that's probably why.
