I was going to post to see what you all recommend for a gaming headset but decided to go ahead a buy one that has a lot of positive reviews at a price that’s very reasonable. I went for the Hyperx Cloud Alpha.

Please do go ahead and let us know what you’re using.

Cheers! 🍻

Ive heard good things about the Hyper X series. I like the wireless one and the 300 hr battery life per charge but not really the price.

Currently I'm using a Logitech G933, Its a good headset for sound and people say the mic sounds good.

Its a bit heavy though. I find I get about 12 hours of usage with the LEDs off and 25% volume.

I was briefly looking at a new headset but my newish Logitech g910 keyboard started acting funky with double key presses. I think it was software and has been resolved though.

At some point I think I want to go all one company for my mouse, KB and headset. Probably going with Razer.

I really like the programmable G keys on the left side and need that in any new KB I get. Its what I use for my mic on key and admin scripts.

I like the Razer Blackwidow v4 or v4 pro. Has all the LED bells and whistles and the programmable keys on the left side. Although as long as my Logitech still works im going to stick with it.

For a future headset I don't care about LEDs and just want something wireless, light and good battery life. I think some of the Razers fit that category.

Yes, I have to say your mic is very clear and good volume. Almost as if you're right beside me. 😅

For anyone’s that like me and find the headset band to hurt the top of their head, I might have the solution for you.

Years ago I bought a length of the firm foam pipe cover. The kind that has the adhesive strips and cut two 2 inch pieces and stuck it to the headband.

Animal you need that additional cushioning for the rough rides behind enemy lines.

I prefer this type of foam product to cure discomfort...

Holy shit!!!

That's a really good idea. I used that stuff to line the plumbing pipes I use for my surf rack.

I almost bought those and added to the cart but the cheapo in me went with the HyperX 😄
How you like them?
They have a headband instead of foam so I barely feel it on my head lol.

They also have very clear audio, better than my old Arctis 7. Deeper bass than that but a little underwhelming.

I can turn on Bluetooth with it connected to my computer, so I can be on a phone call and play a game with sound at the same time. Awesome feature I use a lot.

Only thing that really sucks is that Arctis has no customer support.

Recently switched to Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless. I used Logitech for years but they started making the stuff cheaper and poorer in quality so they left me no choice but to drop them. Love the Razer BlackShark, sound quality is awesome. They are expensive tho, but worth every penny.

Hope they hold up well for you! I might give SteelSeries a shot next time.

Been using an old Logitech G533 for years now. I've tried other ones, but I can hear stuff with this one in competitive games that I can't with others lol. I would really love to try the Beyerdynamics DT770 Pro's. Heard some good stories about them

I see lots of bad reviews on Amazon about poor quality. Hope you don't experience that.
