Hall of Shame

The last 9 out of 10 bans on our server have been for a specific violation.

VIOLATION (AIMBOT) 52120

There seems to be a bit of an uproar over this specific cheat. Link below

I have made a post over at PBBANS to ask why there is such an uptick with this violation when there has been no update to the master config file since September 2017. Below is a screen shot of my post.

I have shut down the Hall of Shame until until PBBANS responds. Its the only fair thing to do

Better to err on the side of caution in this case. Like my dad used to say “before you high beam a guy for some petty reason, consider first what he/she might be capable of.

If they are deemed false positives, the posts will be forever deleted from the forums. But until then, the hall of shame will be closed until such a time as we feel comfortable that they are in fact violations. I cannot remove the bans. The master ban list in maintained by PBBANS.

I have looked around a little on this and im thinking it's going to turn out it might be caused by a harmless program ...some suggest possibly MSI afterburner and riva tuner....im sure we'll find out

I’m running MSI afterburner on Win 10. No problems so far.

It could be tied to low-level changes being forced on software devs by Spectre that's causing issues. Who knows, but these bans are just flying in like crazy.
