Car fun!!!

I wish I did. The mopar I use to beat the shit out of are priced out of my league today. I still dont understand the price increase as the cars had a shit load of power but handled like garbage.

I owned a 71 Superbee that I bought from a guy for 400 dollars. Had the 383 magnum in it and I drove her like I stole it.

Just watched / listened to the video.....thats BADASS man!

How many HP you gonna crank out with that?

Loved that sound. Grew up with Carlsbad Dragstrip just a few miles away and used to love that roar on Friday and Saturday nights.

Friday was open night....anyone could race.

Is all track homes now!

So I loved the sound in that video!

awesome fellow mustang owner!

I'm strongly considering a supercharger for my '11 GT, but I have to look into if any other supporting mods are necessary and how much labor will cost. I think the main thing for that much more power is wider tires, which I already have along with a modest lowering kit. I went with bigger wheels thinking i'd get a big brake kit like the gt500 but that doesn't seem to be that much of an improvement over stock.

Thank you sir!!

The goal is 700- 750 on 93 octane...... I also have access to E85 all over and I may go that route but not sure yet..... If I do move over to E85 another 100 is not out of the question.

Hey Monty i would do it but you may want to be aware of the cylinder 8 cooling issues on the first couple of years on the Coyotes. They make a cooling mod to resolve the problem and if you do blow her, i would invest the money. I believe it is not an expensive to install. The cost to install the superchargers usually run around 11-12 hundred. I thought you said you were down in Texas and if you are I would look at Brenspeed. They have done lots of work on my Mustangs at their shop here in Indiana. Here is a video of my 2008 Roush 427R turning the rollers.

As for supporting mods you are on track. I have 325's out back on it is lowered on new springs and Shocks. I cant wait to run this auto as it shifts so damn fast.........

nice, ty wiz. the town i'm in doesn't have many shops but I reached out to a place in Austin about a single turbo setup. honestly I think about 500 whp is good for me. in a few years i'll probably get an awd performance tesla model 3 for a daily anyways. supposedly 0-60 in 3.2 seconds haha

I really like the idea of a new supra, or a really well built 350-sh hp Toyota gt-86/Subaru brz but i'll work with what I have.

this is my 4th mustang, but 2nd that I had for a decent amount of time. I kind of got attached to them because the old slang term for an army officer that was prior enlisted is mustang, and that's what I am.

Here is my First Camaro... still have it in the garage... and my current one. I have often thought about going with a ZL1 motor and tune to get it up north of 700 but the wife is screaming for a new car... decisions... :black_eyed:

Is that a chevy volt in the back?

Mr. Whitefish is correct... the daily driver is a Volt. The Fifty Camaro only comes out in the nice weather and living in the Pacific NW there is not much good weather this time of year :(

The 69 Camaro sits in the garage next to the 53 Porsche... both of which are in pieces. The shop that is in the picture has the 57 Chevy truck, the 48 CJ2A, the 53 CJ3A and is also where the Fifty sleeps at night.

Love the Mustang and looking forward to hearing how the changes wake it up... and do appreciate the Mustang and what it has done to push Chevy to make a better Camaro. FYI... track day did see the Fifty passing a few Mustangs :)

from what I've read the new Camaros are objectively better at the track but don't sell as well for whatever reason. i'm not sure if that holds up at the GT350/350R trim but still. it's pretty cool how they share the new 10 speed transmissions though.
