Ban the C4/Mine Jeeps - RC1

Personally I feel like a few people are over dramatizing what's going on with all of this. First of all this has been a part of the game since release. and there are also so many ways to counter the c4 jeeps, Attack & Scout Helicopters, Staff, Canister, & Guided Shells from Tanks, LAV's and AA's, just to name a few. I will say that I think that everyone should be allowed to play the way that they like as long as it doesn't involve hacking.

What are you trying to accomplish with your post zoom? Your pitiful existence on the battle field? Do you understand the concept of the game at all? Most people play conquest the way it is meant to be played, that includes capping flags. Not only that but at the end of a round you usually have a negative KD. So much for helping your team win matches. So when you grow up a little you may want to try some thing not so chicken shit. You may find out the game is pretty fun with out being the dick everyone complains about......................STRYKER.

I watched the trailer for 2042 and low and behold they showed a Kamikaze jeep in the preview. C4 plastered all over the front of it just waiting to hit a tank. I still contend it is chicken shit play on a conquest map and people doing it are about worthless to their team. But it is what it is and we just have to bite the jeep and deal with it.............................STRYKER.

omg Stryker great eyes. Missed that but am dying with lols. so many folks hate that jeep. I have blown myself trying that a few times. Sometimes I paste some slam mines on a tank as it rolls bye hehehehe I jumped on an enemy tank other day I died right away but I was so happy

C4 on jeeps is literally such a Battlefield staple they had to put it in the gameplay trailer.

Yeah it's annoying but too many rules scare of players who just want to play the game as it is. It looks like the poll has already made it's course but like others said too many rules looks dumb on a server and discourages a lot of people from playing.

I'm going to start main-ing a C4 loadout soon so I'm probably going to upset a lot of people

My point is that you are being vastly overdramatic with the whole situation. I do c4 jeeps to help my team make things easier to cap points. if that's not helping then I don't know what is. I don't know what your deal is but you should stop trying to dictate how other people should be playing on the server, the players should be allowed to play as they want.

Sir, I landed said jet and put C4 on the nose. I flew AT the AA, but bailed and pulled that trigger and boom. One less AA.

Do MAVs pop C4? I know MAVs detonate mines. If yes, then jihad jeeps are a great target for recon.

Yes, but it's not a lock on with the MAV. It's tough to hit a moving target like that, but it can be done. A lock-on laser guided from a LB or javelin is a much better way to get rid of the jeep.

So these players don't affect me unless I occasionally play gunner for 6kings, Predator or USCCOM, but I see these players that C4/Mine jeep every game and every time they're on the server. Last noticeable one I remember was called YummyTea I think but I'm pretty sure he/she got banned? Newest main offender I recognize doing the same thing is a player called Zoomboy (not exact BF4 name).

Anyways, the armour players have enough hassle most games defending against AH, a10, infan, LB, armour etc that I think these types of players should be banned from the server.

From what I see in game chat I think 80%+ your clan members and server regulars would agree. I can see how you could forgive a player for doing this once in a blue moon. But to play this way 24/7 is a joke in my opinion.

As a tank main and a regular on RC1, I must agree with Dodge_Viper. Though I am okay with the occasional C4 Jeep to take out pesky targets, the 24/7 suicide jeeps are also hurting their OWN team! In most cases, they're using up double or triple the amount of spawn tickets than they are taking away from their opponents.

I also agree that armour already has way too much to worry about (eg. Other armour, Helicopters, jets, and LAWS). Having a jeep come up at mach speeds every 30 seconds, out of nowhere, that takes two shells to blow up is simply ridiculous. I know some BF4 trailers advertised and glorified this mechanic but, in my opinion, it was a huge oversight in balance.

Is it enough for a ban? Maybe if the 24/7 c4 jeeps are unwilling to change and continue to hurt their own team and and others' enjoyment of the game. It's not in the rules (yet), but so are some other obvious things. Better teamwork can probably thwart part of the problem, such as Little Birds hunting for the jeeps. But teamwork is hard to come by now since the game was given out for free and we have a lot new players who want to snipe at Foxtrot.

Though I'm all on board for banning people who laser while parachuting from 1000ft up. So far the max graphics won't render them unless you zoom in with a scope. That stuff is unfair as hell.

Jihad jeeps are really annoying, but is part of the game. And today its not only c4 that they are using, I see some players using mines on the front of the jeep to blow up the armors.
Like gemcandy said the helis are the best counter for those idiots.
I remember one guy that was trying to get me with the jeep and I was killing him with the AA all the times, when he finally get me I saw that I had killed him 8 times, so he was really pissed off with me (lol) and that is part of the game...
I dont think that the server need more rules, I agreed with Red on this.

It's like trying to ban a camper, or maybe a heli hide on hills and shooting tv guided, or maybe a jet going high with jdams from the above...... It's hard to justify that kinda stuff. It's annoying, true, but it's part of what the game can allow

Yeah, imagine that. Instead of running all over the map with one's head cut off with no real plan/strategy and playing Wack A Mole than defending the flags you already have. lol That being said, I am fine with the rules as they are. Camping/Defending means the same thing to me and many others. Camping means different things to different people. I think that if people want realism in war games, they should uninstall BF4 and go play Arma lol. BF4 is a cartoon lol Love yall and ttyl

I can't disagree more, just one tank and gunner WAY more damage and over all influence than a single Jihad jeep can.
