Your appeal statement: Hello,

I am asking for some help from the staff here. I play on BF4 RC1 Golmud 24/7 server quite often, for some odd reason however, I was banned this afternoon. It did not specify any reasoning within BF4, so I took to the discord, then the forums, and I found advice saying that joining through battlelog would show a reason for the ban. Come to find out, battlelog states the reason as: "base rape [jsimpson32]" I have no idea what that means or who that player is. Anyway, the moment I had gotten banned I was in a little bird and I destroyed the other teams viper, I then got banned. I would like to know what the reason for this ban was since the viper was quite far away from any base or spawn that I can recall... Furthermore, If such a thing exists, (base rape) what are the boundaries and how does it work? Did I miss a ruleset or some sort of new guideline in relation to this "baserape"? I have killed numerous vipers, other little birds, cargo helos, etc, all in the same area without consequences in the past, so this one was a surprise for sure. Lastly, Is this type of ban something that can be lifted? If so, I would like to know exactly what the boundaries and guidelines are for this "baserape" rule to prevent further conflict and problems here.

now, from all that, i get angry by birds that go all the way to the north limits of the map, cross the alley to being behin the border, and call it, fair

or go all the way south limits of the map, and call it square, means ur a bullshit player that tries either way to bypass the limits of the rules, and take a stance of innocent loser

like the attack chopper that goes 500 yards up in the air, and the only way to knock him out is by a collision course to alderan

now. after all that, if Simpson spot u in the move, is for a reason, and u broke the rule in that moment, usually he or Red give you a 3 day vacation to fullfill the punishment

@shiryu_libra I appreciate the ruleset and information you have provided.

That said, I'm going to be honest: I'm still a little unclear on the actual boundaries for the "baserape" rule, especially from the air @shiryu_libra. In my case, the enemy viper was low on HP after getting hit by my friendlies and then they'd duck around the hills near B flag, so I pushed at perfect timing and sprayed the viper with 7.62 for the finish. I was being aggressive to help my team. So don't be mistaken, I am not trying to be a cheap or "bullshit" player. In fact, the opposite. That is why I made an account on these forums to then post this and learn the rules a bit better. Not to mention, RC1 is a pretty damn good server so it is the least I can do to learn and follow a particular ruleset in order to play on it. That Star Wars reference was actually funny asf @shiryu_libra. Gave me a respectable chuckle.
