I did try the Origin Settings thing as well, but it didn't change anything.

Ah, too bad.

Have you tried another headset? Analog and USB?
Try removing your Asus audio card and use the on-board audio?

Typically, when troubleshooting computer issues you want to remove as many variables as possible. Just something to try.
After all of the settings that you’ve tried changing there could be some weird conflict with your hardware.
