Hello!
I'm sure you're well-aware of the on-going "issues" with Battlefield 4. The game has been under attack by bad actors for about a month at this point. If you're somehow not aware, and this is news to you, then you probably don't actively play. Which is fine. Information is information.
The attack itself is aimed at a back-end vulnerability that only EA (and *maybe* server providers) can fix. It is not, strictly-speaking, a DDoS attack. Unfortunately, there's little we can do ourselves to help with the situation.
The currently-standing solution we have had to implement to counteract these persistent and wide-reaching attacks was to put the server into `Password Protection`. Which does work, albeit in a way that is not especially "desirable". In order to place a password on the server, it needs to be "Unranked". If you have played since this was implemented, you have likely noticed that your unlocks are not available.
This is an unfortunate side-effect of making the servers actually accessible in *any* capacity. While we are definitely aware that this is something no one wants, there isn't really much else that can be done until (or perhaps **if**) EA fixes the exploited vulnerability(ies).
As for the **SERVER PASSWORD** itself, you can find it in the **SERVER NAME**. It's literally **right there**!
If you somehow can't read, which is concerning in it's own way the **PASSWORD** is aarp (You can click this black box to reveal it!)
