I had the pleasure of being one of the 'reasonable' members Gravy was chatting with and I watched at least one kick. He was venturing to a point he thought was 'forward' - eg something past the Delta resting spot - he'd get hit and then retreat to near spawn to let the AA recover to 100% - and admittedly he had some expert AH and LB pilots to contend with. I do think spending some time watching a decent AA would provide guidance on where to play from. I would note that Gravy does not seem to be a wack-job (although if my mellifluous reasoning doesn't convince I'm not sure what does) but he clearly didn't understand the instructions - and I applaud him for coming on the forum to seek knowledge

I'm speaking the truth, wouldn't have gone out of my way just to post about this but I wish I was streaming or recording any of these games I seen this happen in but unfortunately I wasn't but even if i was would it even matter?????

But listen, we can talk about this all day, I've seen it and I've been a victim of it.

I know much people wouldn't go out of there way to create an account just to bring light of this situation but after happening to me and seeing it happen to others in the past few weeks thought was the right thing to do and speak up. Maybe that's the problem of why its happening.....? No one saying anything about it

When this happened to me I wanna make it clear, "I was NOT BREAKING any rules" I was specifically positioned at that rock ledge between B and C playing from the right side of map so I was well engaged with foot troops with rpg's coming from C and aerials above that's what blows my mind and because of that I had to say something about this cause this isn't right. There was times I had to pull back to repair but I drove right back up and got into the action, was not hiding by any means. I mean the AA doesn't have much armor or health so take a rocket and some gun fire its done already....

So in my situation what it was, It was a friend of an admin that kept chatting back and fourth the last 5-6 games and cause I wasn't doing as his friend said which was going deep into A B which was a death warrant, he kept bickering and eventually the admin who ever it was kicked me from the vehicle.... And all of a sudden that guy who kept bitching about how i was doing it was using the AA that's how I know its favoritism.

When there's too much admins with little to no over sight this usually what happens....

I know alot of you are like yea yea yea wtf ever stop crying about it but like I said, the game is dying as is, doing this kind of insecure admin abusive type sht is only hurting it.....

To those admins who can make a difference and choose to make a difference great, if not i guess what ever its your servers....

Your teammates want you to stand up and fight for them. If you're taking shots and then retreating back to anywhere near main spawn or going under the railroad tracks (for fucks sake!) then you are a really shitty AA player. Get on the front line and provide cover at ABC for your team. If you get killed in the process, YOU CAN RESPAWN.

Heck, I figure I am pretty decent with the AA (some times) and even I got booted recently mostly due to me trying to dodge a dedicated a10 dive bomber who was spending the entire game trying to jdam me. I got the complaint that I wasn't covering a/b and was just trying not to get stomped every minute and had no pilots trying to stop it. You just have to figure the aa is a tough unit to play, gets scrutinized a lot, and people are going to rip you if they perceive you are not doing the job. The game will be over soon enough and next one up.

That was me! And I’ve also booted satan, who are members and donate. When we have two AAs that are fairly effective, the games tend to be balanced and fun!! Believe it or not Gravy,it’s not personal.

King, I tend to be extra critical of lvl 140 and regulars. I recently banned supermike for two weeks for camping. In the end I just hoping for a few more good games before bf4 is gone forever.

I know it takes too many ucavs to destroy a AA.

And dont get 6Kings angry in a tank. Him and Davepars are top shelf in tanks.

To be sure the AA gets blamed a lot, even when they are fighting a good fight but are contending against a strong enemy air. To be fair you could equally blame the F35 as it is much more powerful anti air asset vs attack helicopters and warthogs.

I would say it IS possible occasionally admin frustration or peer pressure does play a role.

I can see both sides of this. To be blunt I see as a gunner in the chopper way too many AAs cost their team the whole match by still moving up but flat out not even shooting at the chopper or jet and trying to hit rats in the rubble on A/B then pull back to repair after an RPG or 2. The nature of RC1 seems to be much more hyper competitive than any other server I have played on since it's the same map and people over and over. Just make sure your team can see tracers and rockets flying into the air at air assets and not you trying to get quick kills off ground units, and I would think your good.

I wanted to bring this to attention, I know I'm not the only one, but maybe the only one who gives a rip enough to create an account and express what I've seen going on in the last 3-4 weeks i been playing on this server.

Now maybe you guys give a fk, maybe you guys don't

Now there are players who aren't being productive and not following the rules but that's not me.

All too often I or other players are getting kicked out of AA "while we are following the rules". A lot of times I've been kicked while I was at or near A B or C like the said rules and to top that actually killing and suppressing aircrafts so in short DOING MY JOB as an AA user....

I've come to conclusion that I often get kicked cause a personal or gamer friend of an admin who has the privilege's is making a bunch of noise about the AA, making false assumptions and claims against the Aa so that AA player gets kicked out so that said player can get the AA so long story short admin favoritism/abuse of power how ever you want to call it.

I've seen it happen to other people while I was not playing AA.

I don't know if that's OK or apart of being an admin in the RC1 AARP BF4 server but that's hands down fukin wrong

Hopefully something becomes of this, and this is something to think and consider cause we all know this game came out in 2013 so its time is limited, charts show player activity has only been trending downwards (On Steam) and people kicking out of vehicles for asinine reasons is going to kill the game even further...

For sure it's frustrating to be admin killed for not doing a bang up job in the AA. Hell, I've been admin killed for being too aggressive in the AA, true story.

The main thing we (players who actually play to win for the team) expect from the AA is to engage the enemy aircraft at flags A/B/C and do the best you can at keeping those aircraft busy and if your best isn't cutting it give the AA to someone else. The Golmud map is probably the one map where having a talented AA player is vital for a win. Especially with the possibility of having 6 or more enemy aircraft in the air at one time. That's why we have strict rules for the AA player.

Not sure what happened in your case but it's not the end of the world bud and if you're struggling in the AA and not doing not doing your team justice, maybe try another vehicle or tactic.

Do admins sometimes make bad decisions on killing a player? Sure, it happens, they are human for the most part - except Simpson, he's pure evil.
Do admins sometimes kill so that a favored player can get the AA? It's possible and if it's for the greater good of the team I'm in favor of it.

Just know playing on our servers is a free service to players like yourself and we all know the age of this game but this is still our server and our rules.

Respect the rules, respect the Admins or simply find another suitable server.
