Playing RC1 from the Western Pacific Region

I'll be going to the Western Pacific Region for a few weeks, to Singapore, Brisbane, the Philippines, Japan, and Korea for an Amentum contract. My internet will be from the hotel's Wi-Fi. I'm not sure if I should bring my gaming laptop.
Will it work overseas, or will I just be lugging around a paperweight for a month? Can anyone chime in?

it will heavily depend on local internet. with good internet in korea it was usually playable , ping was like 195 though and would go over 200 20% of the time (triggering a ping kick potentially which suckkkkkkkss)

lots of good single player games to check out.

I guess I'll leave it here at home, but I'll lurk the forum and discord from my work laptop it it allows me.
