Amen to that! A lot of people out in the real world are surrounded by others in their personal and work lives most of the time, and yet still feel alone. Ever since there have been digital social environments, people have been drawn there to experience a different type of connection. Forums like this and gaming environments like the RC servers are the best examples of people coming together in ways we never could out in the world.
