Good morning,
I've know of this group for some time now, and have been playing the servers for the last several weeks now and enjoy them immensely and getting beat half to death I jump on TS as often as possible and mix it up with the group, but try not to interrupt when they are in a good fire fight. Thus far, all seem very friendly, courteous and team oriented.
About me :
In game name : Syntax2112
I have a very long history in the PC gaming anticheat realm. I started off many years ago in BFROE ( Battlefield Rules of Engagement ) working with EA/Dice and PBBans running all EA's BF2 servers and administering. Receiving player reports and investigating the action'ing accordingly. BFROE was then re-branded to ROC ( Rules of Combat ) where we continued to work with EA/Dice and then spurred off and began working with Activision, THQ, Kaos Studio's, Relic Studio's and several other's, as their active anticheat player reporting system to where we would receive reports of players cheating / hacking, investigate them, then action accordingly.
Once most game makers brought their anticheat in-house, there wasn't much need for AC groups so to speak. But ROC does still accept reports on players thought to be cheating / hacking, then investigated using multiple tools and the final report is forwarded to the game maker / developer via the backend.
ROC still assist's communities with their anticheat needs and we work closely with other anticheat groups. We focus on fine tuning communities server configurations where streaming to PBBans, GGC and the usage of ProCon and Adkats is of concern. Website development and configuration, SQL, PHP, HTML and other's are also assisted with.
I have multiple years of server administration experience. Not just for BF4, but multiple games and genre's. I was Director of Server Administrator's in a previous BF4 clan, but was abruptly kicked from the clan due to the wife joining a rival BF4 clan of kicked members from the current clan. Can explain in greater detail in a more private setting if needed.
I enjoy playing a multitude of games. BF series, COD series, MOH series ( sometimes ) and newer games off the FPS realm. I don't just limit myself to shooters, but they are my first go to game
The thing take drew me to AARP was the team gameplay. I like a good fight and the team atmosphere on the servers. It's not just run and gun alone, but squad based gameplay, tactics and movements. Constant communication on TS. Situational awareness. Team play. That's what it's all about !
I am early retired now, and can spend more time toward a group / clan then in previous years.
So, that being said, I hope you will consider my application for joining the group !!!
