When you Return Something to Amazon

Like many people, I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon. I don't return many items, but from time to time I do if they broken or lousy pieces of shit. Anyhow, I've often wondered if I should put something else in the box, just for fun. And so I recall traveling with my boss when I was mid thirties and he was mid forties. We would both take out the in-flight magazines and mark them up with sharpies, tits on women, cocks on men, etc. Afterwards we would stuff them back in the seat pocket for some 80 year-old granny to discover. Maybe the same thing can be done with the amazon package. Or maybe tuck a pic of my morning poop in the box. Just something I've been struggling with for a couple weeks.

The people who will find it are your everyday warehouse staff. I don't work at amazon.

If you want to be clever, include a handwritten note about how you've finally tunneled out of the multi-level sub basement at another amazon facility. Say something to the effect of how good life is on the outside and you've been without real sunlight for the last 5 years. The cost of 2 day shipping was too great and you were only human. Give them hope, there is a better life away from the cardboard cubes and bubble wrap packets and endless rolls of Amazon embossed packing tape. Somewhere out there is a real place where shipping takes a full week and no one is timing you like a rat in a neverending maze of consumerist dystopia.

It'll probably go over better than a picture of your last bowel movement. But, if you're going to do that... make sure to send a polaroid picture to help the creepiness set in.

Fraud by mail is a felony in the US.

They got someone in England who did it with dirt. The outcome wasn't good for him. He had done it to thousands of dollars worth of items.
