What’s Up Yall

Hey everyone,
It seems like some of us got off on the wrong foot so I wanted to make a new post.
I’m 32, I’ve been playing BF games since they first came out. I played BF4 a lot with my brother when I was stationed in Japan.
I’m a medically retired United States Air Force veteran.
Got a couple kids that love playing BF as well.
I’m just trying to have some fun with some cool people, I’m goofy in the game chat and goofy in person. Military gave me a dark sense of humor on top of other bullshit so if I come off a certain way, that’s probably why.

Hopefully Dave will lighten up a little, me having the AARP clan tag for about an hour was a complete mistake and I immediately removed it upon being asked to do so. Was a registration misunderstanding.

I hope to become a member! I’ll see yall out there, I play just about every night.

I have zero idea why other than the clan tag which, like I’ve said several times, was a mistake and removed immediately when asked.

100% because you put on the clan tag. That's earned, not given. It would be one thing if you were a long-time regular and did it as a joke, but you're not that guy. Nobody knows who you are. You don't come into some clan's server and slap their tag on your name.

I know more about earning shit than most people. But that’s fine, I get it. Which is why I immediately removed it.

I could totally understand, what’s made out to appear to be a massive issue, if this was a group that met up in person and had lan parties and events…but this is an online group of people playing an old game.

If that’s what’s going to stop me from joining a gaming community clan than that sucks because I’ve been playing BF likely longer than most people have been alive in this group.

I’m just a vet trying to find a community again y’all.

At the end of the day, none of this is a big deal. Like you said, it's an old video game and it's on the decline. I'm just explaining to you why it's distasteful for an unknown player to slap on tags in a clan's server and then apply to join that clan after being rebuked about it. You probably are a nice guy and may ultimately fit into this community. I still stand by my telling you that by tagging up in our server you got off to a bad start.
