So I've been seeing all these mentions of opening another server. I personally think the [AARP] name alone will cause a new server to pop off. If it is decided that another server is going to happen; What kind of server would it be? Would it be another 24/7 map? Just wanna spitball and be included in brainstorming.

I was thinking something like the hc server map rotation but in normal mode.

Maybe a team death match mode too?

Server 2, was that you-all mentioned, before HC times, was pretty amazing.... But it was turned off for lack of donations unfortunately

I personally think the bf4 population has become to small to have another server do well. The servers that are out there have been there for awhile and have outlasted the test of time. By being at the round table of AARP i see what it takes to have a server and make sure maintained and people play there. There is a lot more behind the scenes then just throw down money slap a name on it and have it full. The US population i think is just to small. I dont know if all thats %100 but its IMO.

We can hope!

I still miss "Big City Battles" myself.
The way HC is loaded now you can only catch certain maps at certain times of day, maybe a server with a smaller map rotation that changes every week or two.

I agree with PeePee about population.

If I had a say I would make it a infantry oriented server. Maybe 4-5 maps like Metro and Locker with a map vote. Something that would go after the 24/7 Metro/Locker pop and not draw from the Golmud or HC server pop.

i'm not a member, but I'd love me some BF2 with the village. Or Some Dragon Valley 2or4(my2 cents)

See that's what I am talking about Fish. I know people in the physical community I live in, that know the AARP name.
Now while the player base has gown down a little; we see traffic at a nominal rate. Most of the good hardcore maps are large or do single maps.
A hardcore infantry based circulation has a shot in my opinion. I'll happily donate to the AARP cause regardless. I knew of this clan before I even bought my laptop. Came straight to it when I finally got the game. If that isn't a promising case for hope of a new server taking off. Then I am at lose.
Glad to see there is traffic on my posts. This clan does a wonderful job of inclusion and is very lacked in many departments, even with non clan members and guests to the form.
I think it is worth a shot.

I'd donate either way.....I could also donate a Server if needed as I have a lot of extra hardware(ASUS ROG Intel 6700K water cooled, 2 Asus GTX 780 ti Water).
