Vote ban

I have seen most player using these " VoteBan " . too many time when AARP is not in playing , I never used it to vote but i think it better to have only AARP to have vote kick than using type in game ( everyone playing with it )

I remember i was doing that when i was in old clan ( giving code on anything of kick ) .

before kick them and screenshot or photo to proof what they doing .. That my 2 cents :lock1:

If we'd require proof or a screenshot before using vote-kick or vote-ban, we may as well skip the vote altogether and just give everyone kick capabilities(which i don't support nor recommend). I do agree voteban is severely abused in the servers, however the remedy would be to just blacklist certain people from using the command, instead of punishing everyone and removing their access to the command.

When I see players abusing the votekick, I let them know not to do it just because. Don't be part of the problem just play and have fun!

This morning's voteban activity was terrible. Every minute some yahoo was votebaning redkilla, or someone else and there were only 25 players or sototal. Although I am not a clan member, maybe its time to think about allowing only clan members to initiate a voteban. - Just my two cents.

This might be more a case for the authorities, but I think it's deserving of a ban. Joke or not.

I think we need some good old instant democratic voteban justice in HC server. Seems is someone every day.

A TK punish system would be good for "intentional" or crippling shots. Remember folks....no auto heal or repair in HC.

So some turd taps you a couple times.....or pops an rpg in your tank just as your about to engage....and your good as dead and the griefer walks away laughing.

I tend to do pretty well (somehow) so I get peeps switching just to harass me. I try to ignore it and just play as if they were nothing more than a bothersome fly or bug. But it is aggravating.

After lockons....that's my biggest beef.

This was happening today, Leaving from uncap in tank and team would shoot rockets into departing tanks

This is a far bigger problem on our Golmund server, where it's much easier to hide on the fringes of the map and mark the tanks and stuff.

i agree there is a problem with that! i play on this server for almost 2 years now, and every time i play there is atleast 1 voteban happening in game. i think making only an aarp clan member have the option to vote ban might help reducing this kind of effect. about anyone supporting the terrorist attack - he deserve a ban and way more. i served 3 years in the force, iv'e watched the video and can't believe someone would do that. unarmed people getting shot like in the holocaust. Israel and all Jewish people are sad from this attack and we all have the responsibility to help reducing the violence around the world. we as gamers love to shoot in games, of course its fun, but you should know that as solider it does understandable to me why games help encourage people to shoot random people in the streets etc... dont go into your own world and dont care guys! keep people around you aware of the world we live in, and help make it better each day by a little.

I can tell you that I was asking them in chat not to fire into main base. I also put a few of my rockets into those that were. Didnt cate that they retaliated against me and shot me down. But I did try to convey to them that were

I'll try to avoid the term and topic.

However, .....that said....

Hardcore isnt really hardcore with the lockon's as the game is really hard for those not using lockon's. With the lockon crowd having free reighn and he non-lockon crowd having to actuall acquire a target and shoot it, its obvious that the lockon player has an advantage.

So I think dropping the topic of lockon's is probably a good idea as it isn't going to change.

But wouldn't it be nice to have a non-lockon server that was truly hardcore? As someone who doesn't use lockons for anything but the AA I guess I feel the lockon effect more than most.

But your right I shouldn't concern myself with, or dwell on, lockon's or the advantage people that use lockon's have. I should embrace lockon's and I should make them my friend and sit on a beach and have fuck-you-by-golly lockon epiphany and become lockon enlightened.

I get a throbbing boner when you light up shit and you see nothing but guided going through the air....... If you are on a guided team the kills are instantaneous...... The system is also fucked because after you break the lock you are going for one to two more shots........
