Unbound tilde.... console.... ¬ key

Is the a way of unbinding the tilde '¬'

If i screw up cuz i ACCIDENTLY hit the mother and it only fricken happens when you need full control. Pop - Console -Dead.

Tried the in-game key binding - selected a key to just bring up the scoreboard - hit ¬ .I held my breath but the console popped up instead. the console popped up. Bastard.

I thought I was smart.

Is there a simple file edit (you remember mastering config.sys and autoexec.bat right? I miss you DoS) ordo we all have to endure this. I cut my left finger nail short to lessen the chance of hitting the fucker.

Shit I need help, this shutdown is evolving me...

God I hope so. I’ve done some googling and haven’t turned up anything. So frustrating I’ve contemplated reining the physical key all together.

I’ve searched and found nothing over the years.

You could remove the keycap.
Even better, use SharpKeys to make that key do something else (like make it click TAB).
I use SharpKeys to make my CAPS LOCK key make an 'a' instead because I always miss-click it and I never use caps lock.

Thanks @Dan_ The SharpKeys link led me to start looking and I found Keyboard Manager from Microsofts PowerToys, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/keyboard-manager
