Hello,

I am a very casual player of BF4 and battlefield in general. In fact a couple of weeks ago I would've never thought to play it. I spent some time playing it on xbox around the time it was released, but that is the very most I've played it.

The reason I picked it up recently is because of my time spent with my good friend IRL Quban aka CoyoteSloan throwing cold ones back while he slayed golmud scrubs for hours at a time. he wanted me to get in on the fun and admittedly I have been enduring the hardships of being a full-blown scrub through the last few days of playing but that's beyond the point.

the other day when i was playing i came across osmebody streaming and he too said that on bf4 he faces the same issue of people thinking that he is hacking so he streams as a countermeasure/evidence that he is just a certified scrub slayer. my friend decided to stream. i saw on the website people compaling about voteban so I told him to post here as he may be able to be whitelisted or something.

My friend quban is a sweet young Hot Boy™ who just wants to slay scrubs, I've never witnessed him using any type of modification or hacks in his game and I've watched him play from the U.S.S. scrub slayer for hours without any type of tampering to game files or methods of giving him any type of unfair advantage to other players. THen earlier, one of your admins went full super-sleuth detective mode and posted "Hey Coyote, or should I say, quban?" as if he hadn't disclosed this information on the server several times and even on the forums. He then ends up being banned from the server and forum, and if what me and all the other Hot Boy™s are fighting for which is an unban cannont be reached we would like a simple reason as to why.

Lol, I don’t even have an SPM that high. Also coyotesloan is a suspected cheater. There have been a few complaints about him and I think he’s even been vote banned.

"He's been votebanned" how can that seriously have any merit when no matter what the reason, people vote !yes on a voteban as soon as they see it. Sure, sometimes they don't go through, but the first time I watched Quban play on the server in person there were several instances of players being votebanned, and it was always the same people spamming !yes. He's been streaming all his games, you can check his VODs.

I've played several games that rely on server ownership to ban players and while I can see how votebanning works in theory, it has it's massive flaws. I was a staff member on servers on other games that dealt with the exact same issues. These other games require people to provide proof that the player is cheating or manipulating their client before they ban players.

It's a truly cancerous attribute that seems to carry over on every server with a half-decent playerbase that server leadership doesn't want players who are better than them on the server.

I don't have any issue with anybody on the server honestly and I believe that you guys are focused on creating a clean and fair enviorment on your server for you meembers and people that are hopping into the server for the first time. In a few weeks, I'll probably compeltely forgotten about BF4. I just feel bad because my friend enjoys BF4, to the point where he got me to play it, has had people reinstall the game just to hop on the server with him, pressured my friends to get origin access to they can hop in on the fun with him. I'm watched him play in person, I could even film him playing in person. I just feel bad because this is the server that he spends the most of his time on and I can tell from how he talked to me about being banned that he's bummed that he can't play here anymore.

in this vod, he reacts like that because there's been several instances in the server where he's been being votebanned that he and I have told people to look up his other battlelog that's under the name Quban. He also posted it on this forum above^

even in this vod, nothing suggests that he's hacking. he's checking corners, he's working his way through the map. hes giving tips on the game in the vod to somebody.

At the end of the day he doesn't care about being votebanned as long as he can come back after. He made a post on the forums trying to see if there was anything he could do about being vote banned and then his forum account was permabanned and last he checked he was banned from the server.

I opened the thread as a joke to get his spirits up.

I am interested in knowing why he was banned, who banned him, and what type of modifications he's being accused of using. Because he's either not hacking, or he's managed to do it right under my nose, right in front of me, and I understand that what I say he was or wasn't doing when I was watching him play has no merit but if he was hacking, I'd like to know what I missed that I didn't see watching him play.

??? Somebody got wrongfully banned, in fact for no given reason... it's not an expectation. There's 4 golmud servers, most servers don't have much population either. Stop acting like a cocky fucker just because you've been play submarine sims
