Unable to Log into EA app

Anyone have issues with logging into EA today? My Spectrum internet was off line for a few hours today and I noticed that the EA was trying to get me to log in automatically while not online. Now after my service was resumed EA says there is a timout with the EA server and log in fails.

nope, the same issue last year, when the update come and block all the logins

Computer had to download a new update yesterday morning. EA already had my login credentials so it let me play last night. Today had an internet outage and when i started my computer it tried to have to have me log in with ID and password.

Now I get system error from EA. Says it Couldn't connect to servers and I should restart app.

I tried that. No luck. It says I need to install the game plug.

EA forum shows some users having issues today.
