Hello mods and players, I wanted to make another suggestion that I think would improve the gameplay on the hardcore conquest server.
Suggestion 1: Disable commander mode. I dont think I ever heard everyone say they really like the commander aspect to the game. I feel it is more of a gimmick role that the devs came up with in partnership with tablet manufacturing companies such as Samsung and apple. The ability to play battlefield anywhere as a commander actually got me to buy a tablet when it was a new concept for the game before I realized it wasn't very fun, but it didnt matter, as long as samsung/apple got their money, likely giving DICE and EA a cut of the profit.
The commander mode in game is usually an annoyance for myself and the friends I have made in game. I certainly say I speak for others by saying it is nice not having random radar scans and an AC130 gunship shooting down on you.

Suggestion 2: The inclusion of ALL maps with a voting system. My favorite maps and least favorite maps are all my opinion. This server is sponsored by XtremeDiesel, and this gives him the right to have control over the choice of maps, but what this ends up coming down to is his pick in maps for what he feels is the best for the server, biased by his likes / dislikes. But as an owner of a rather popular server in a different game who carefully picked the best maps to include in the rotation without a map vote system believing it to be the best for the server was an error in judgement. Lots of players complained about this regularly and insisted I include a vote, but I disagreed believing the players would constantly pick the same 4 or 5 maps forgetting the less popular maps, so I stuck with my choice of maps in a map rotation order. If players wanted X map and we are on Y map, well too bad X map isnt coming up for 15 more rounds. I eventually gave in to public opinion and included a map vote with all maps and I noticed a happier server.
Imagine this being applied to BF4. the inclusion of all maps means everyone's favorite and least favorite maps are able to be voted on. Have we played zavod, siege, dawnbreaker, dragon valley, graveyard shift all back to back and the server wants some infantry only maps? luckily metro and pearl are on the vote list, and guess what players are going to encourage each other to vote for.. metro and pearl, just to break up the vehicle warfare. Too much infantry and land vehicles? well it's always nice to play some naval strike everyone in a while for that attack boat, island hopping action. But it only gets picked if the player base wants it depending on the mood of the server at that time.
This change for the server completely removes the bias any one player has for map rotation control and puts it into the hands of the players for a more dynamic map flow.
The vote function definitely is utilized in other servers, and will be a welcome addition to the server accompanied by all maps for players to choose from.
I feel these two suggestions will help improve the server even further, especially now that it is 24/7 conquest. To piggyback off that note, I'm happy to see my earlier suggestion a month ago about the server switching gamemodes killing the player count was well recieved by you guys, and I hope this one is too.
