im trying to figure out how to shoot those TOWS. I practice all the time in empty servers and practice map, pretty accurate there but come game I suck.I whiff every shot even tho it looks as if its gonna hit. Any helpful hints,, tricks and tips? Chilli would be a great person to ask he’s more lethal than a AA with those. I just started trying to copy 6 kings and go thermal painted tank with canister rounds and I might try the LAV next. So far it’s been a lot of fun.
For aiming tows in the Lav, ask Hydro, Chilli, Riker, Seabee, Raiden, viper_strike. In terms of being a great team player try and emulate Hydro's play style.
On a broader not on the AH in particular, as this seems to be your interest -
Remember being a good AH pilot or LAV player goes far beyond how good your accuracy is with any given weapon. Its about target selection, planning, situational awareness, manoeuvring and how you're assisting your team. You should probably work on these other aspects first before you try and refine your accuracy with weapons.
In AH my focus is always prioritising armor targets that are on or close to caps as it allows my teams to gain ground more easily, I don't go out of my way to target air targets unless I see a good opportunity for it. I usually ignore AA if in good cover because I can still wipe out a piece of armor on an attack run ( even with no gunner ) before I need to break off, If AA is exposed or in a problematic position I will put a higher priority on it,

For ground TOWs, including the SRAW, the best advice I've gotten was to use the projectile itself as your crosshair. Move your mouse around so that the projectile is always right in front of your target from your perspective.
Id be more than happy to teach anyone with the LAV how to use them, Killswitch was one who hated going against me and low key thought cheat the first time we got into a game together, then after showing him what i do, He understood. Its fun going against good Helo pilots that know to make you a priority over AA and you can only get better. Just let me know. (offer open to anyone)
Only when it’s Chilli. No warning… no love taps or just biting the tip to tease. Just BOOM. The TOW is worse than AA or a jet imo if they are good at it.
Nice to see someone who understands this. The amount of gunners who spray armor with cannon first and blow the element of surprise.... Or fire the cannon at far away targets is like saying HEY I'M OVER HERE!!!!
Chilli has to be the most accurate TOWer defiantly, even better than Riker I think.
But too many of these Lavs hide like pussys away from the caps and even hug the AA. Pathetic ?
