Anyone else have a Yahoo email account? I do have another Google account, but watch my other one which I have had for last 25 years.

Everyday I get email that are more than spam. I'm sure its fraud stuff. I have won something most of them say. And they all have quotes in the sender address field so you cant open them up to see who sending it.

Been deleting them.

you might be able to flag the emails as spam so they go into a junk folder and get eventually deleted, anything new from that email source should be flagged as well.

I have an old yahoo account and dont see what you are -- rarely get anything on it since I transitioned to protonmail a couple of years ago.

Same.

My yahoo, hotmail and gmail are really good about flagging spam as spam and not putting it in my main folders.

I got like 30 of these emails yesterday, I've put some into the spam locker a few days ago, then they started increasing in volumn.

This bad one is my old Bellsouth email address that got bought up by ATT then sent to Yahoo. I did some research on how to report fraud to Yahoo by clicking on the 'V' next to the spam button, but it not on my computer. I suspect that Yahoo has given up the gost on that issue.

Yeah I've noticed more spam emails in my gmail within the last year. Some big tech company probably leaked a bunch of emails or something. Used to get one everyday, but I marked every single one as spam and now it only happens maybe once a fortnight.

Any email that says you won a prize is a scam. Do not click on any links in an email unless you know for certain who it is from. If you have the time, I would recommend educating yourself on different scamming/phishing techniques scammers use.

You can find very entertaining videos on the subject, like people who scambait call centers. I watch (mostly listen to actually) a lot of Kitboga, he's good at acting and improving with scammers on the phone. If you have a lot of free time or if you already listen to podcasts/audio books, I recommend watching/listening to him. There is also this TED talk from a guy who replied to a scam email (though it is an outdated scam).

I found that if I send the emails to spam and in the spam folder click on the tree dots next to the word SPAM you can block sender and delete the emails. They have suddenly disappeared. Except for an occasional once a day.
